The hidden gem!!!! This is my home away from home. Another One of Austin's amazing destinations so relaxing and vibrant. The water is super cold whi h is a plus on those hot days. Get you a paddle board and paddle down the river I promise you you won't regret it. Beautiful scenery all round with friendly people. It will change your life..

Small secluded and free river access. Perfect place to launch kayak or paddle board. Waterfront parking only fits about 10 vehicles and would be difficult to turn around with larger vehicle if full. Larger parking lot up near play ground.

Went Kayakkin for my second time here.
You can get very close to th'Dam. We had a noticeable current, but easy enough to fight against, just keep paddling!!

This is my happy place and we just wanted to see it with the flood waters...very muddy right now with fast current, Mansfield Dam with just 2 flood gates remaining open.

Cool little out of the way park. Has a playground, basketball court , and picnic tables. Also has kayak/canoe access to Lake Austin. Best of all there is NO parking fee. The water access is not visible from the main park area. Drive past the park down the hill to get to the water. There are a few parking spaces and a couple of picnic tables next to the water.

I accessed the river here and the water was clear and cold and was wading depth, not too deep. The shallowness of the water made it easy to see the bottom of the river.

Quiet little neighborhood park nestled just above the Colorado river. Lovely place to pic nic or grow up.

It's small but a great place to hang out by the water and let the dogs run around.
