Beander's

I went to Beanders during the Ramp and Rails festival. This so the best time to go in my opinion because they have specials filled with ramps. Do not miss the ramp dip. I could eat it everyday of my life. There is a reason it is award winning. I have never had anything like it. I also had a chicken sandwich with ramps and it was so good. I couldn’t even finish it all and had it the next day and it was just as good. The inside is nice and spacious. I like the decor. Truly a staple for dining in Elkins. The staff was friendly and took the time to take care of our needs even though they were crazy busy during the festival. A highly recommended stop.

We recently made our third visit to Elkins from Indy. This time we decided to try Beanders and discovered we should have eaten there the first and second times we visited! We were both hungry for a good burger one afternoon so we stopped in and ordered. It was excellent and the french fries were super good! The Big Timber lager and tasty. We liked Beanders so much that we went back for burgers and fries again. The staff was very friendly.

Ordered a rubin for take out as I was recommended by another local to try. Reuben was perfect and it's been a long time since I've had a perfect Ruben. The bread was correct the meat was perfect the toasting was just right. If I was local I would eat there for lunch every day.

A short walk from our hotel and a pleasant surprise. Excellent food, excellent service. Alexa was a friendly and welcoming host. The atmosphere is relaxed and nostalgic, the bill was reasonable.

I've eaten here a few times while working out of town , nice place , great food , and courteous, pleasant service not disappointed at all definitely a nice place to visit had the Texas burger with onion chips very delish

Had the famous cheese steak and home made chips. It was recommended by the bar tender-she was spot on. The local beer complimented the food.
It was a quiet night here, which was fine by me. We sat at the bar. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We chit-chatted about the area. Nice town, 6 pubs and diners.
The bar/restaurant area is beautiful and clean. Spacious, with lots of seating areas.

I am not a big fan of skiing but hesitantly went on ski trip with my friends to snow shoe. On the last day of the trip, I decided to explore city of Elkin and stopped here for a (late) lunch.

They have an amazing staff who answers all of your questions, helps to choose right drink and food which you will like. I tried Hawaiian chicken sandwich along with a beer from local brewery, it was absolutely great. Megan was the wait staff at the counter.
Recommend to stop here if you are in Elkin!

Great hidden little treasure! Beander's has great food and a fun atmosphere. The Texas burger was to die for!

Nice bar, didn't try the food. Limited beer selection, but pretty good liquor variety. The bartender was very helpful, introduced us to something we'd never heard of.

Excellent place to just unwind and enjoy a good meal with a drink. Check it out !

Had a wonderful time! Food and drinks were good. Service was awesome. Thank you, Emma, for making our night great. Would definitely recommend they have different events every night. We had trivia night and had a blast.

Best fries around, we love having lunch here.

Have visited more than a handful of times when in Elkins. Always very good food. Reubens are very good. The buffalo appetizer very good and crispy fries. Enjoy the atmosphere and staff always helpful.

Omg, moved back to Elkins WV 20 yrs ago and we have never ate here. Boy we have been missing out. Burgers, fries & Reuben was AMAZING!!! We will definitely order again. We placed our order online and it was ready when my son picked it up for us. I also like the idea of them putting on top of each container the contents, so no one needs to open anyone else's container and finger their food to see what's inside.
