Scottie’s of Elkins

Always a great meal no matter what you get. The kitchen staff gets a little stressed some times especially during the forest festival, but the food was still excellent even if my fries didn’t come out with my burger. The waitress was the sweetest and explained that the breakfast hours had been rough. They added outside seating the past few years which makes it an excellent place to stop if your traveling with your dog. Staff is friendly and the views of the mountains surrounding Elkins is very nice. My wife had their seasonal buckwheat cake that she love when they are making them in the Fall and in the Spring I love their ramp burgers.

Old school diner with breakfast food, sandwiches, and plates. We especially enjoyed the BLT, sausage gravy biscuits, and blueberry pancakes.

The food was really good. The portion size was really nice compared to the price. The service was fine. They took the time to clean the grill before they made my daughter's pancakes since she has a peanut allergy.

In the area at an airbnb and decided to check this place out our first night. Seated quickly and service was very good. Got the meatloaf special and it was delicious and big portions. Definitely a home town environment.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Found the best seating for our family and they even made my son's pancake into a Mickey Mouse shape. The food was fast and delicious. Great local spot.

I've eaten breakfast, lunch, dinner here. Friendly customers, who will talk with you. Wait staff & owner very nice -- Do Not adjust blinds yourself, ask for assistance😠😉😁. Good hearty food, reasonable prices. Good pancakes. Meaty chili. I've enjoyed soup, sandwiches, mains, salad.

We were there 2 days in a row. We had dinner the first day and it was great. We didn't eat at the hotel the next morning. We came here for breakfast before leaving to go home.

First time at Scott's, it was fantastic. Hubby and I had the special,which was two pork chops, mashed potatoes and gravy green beans and a biscuit. It was very good we would definitely come back maybe as early as tomorrow for breakfast.

It's a nice clean little diner. There were a lot of people the waitresses knew by name so I am guessing it's a regular for locals. Lol always a good sign!

Portions were very generous and the flavors were excellent. The home fries were like my mom's and the eggs were like I had made them at home (both good things!) My wife said the pancake she had was excellent and it was BIG. My chef salad and chili were also very good. We didn't have it, bit the biscuits and gravy looked and smelled really good.

Service was casual and friendly and the best of what you want in a local diner.

The only down side was that we didn't know whether we were supposed to seat ourselves or not. A sign would have helped the initial confusion lol.

Food is excellent. Fabulous service. Generous portions. Served hot just the way you ordered it! Frequent on a regular basis.

Veterinarian recommended and totally enjoyed everything at Scottie’s! The BEST Pepper Shakers you’ll ever find! And it just Keeps Getting Better!

This place is a GEM for foodies! We were only able to eat here once and we all got breakfast. The portion sizes are huuuge! Sausage patties the size of your palm, a small order or B&G more than enough to share. Even though there was a wait it was totally worth it! Service was attentive and friendly and the food came out hot! Great job Scottie's, we'll be back!

The waitress was very nice and like always their food was amazing. My boyfriend and I had biscuit & gravy, frenchtoast, and bacon, egg & cheese bagel sandwich. If u leave there hungry it is your own fault.

First meal coming back from backpacking. Enjoyed three glasses of iced tea, biscuits and gravy, and lemon meringue pie! This is a place I will come to every time I am in the area!

This is a great place to go. You feel like you're at home. Laura was our waitress, and she made us feel like we belonged there. The food was good, and you can't beat the value.

Thank you for a wonderful time and hats off again to Laura that went out of her way to make sure we got everything we needed.
