Worlds Largest Golf Tee

No misrepresentation here... it's a giant golf tee. It was actually pretty cool. We took a spur of the moment detour off the interstate after seeing a sign for the 'world's largest golf tee' cuz, let's face it...we would have regretted it for the rest of our lives if we hadn't!

Fun “fore” all! I love a good World’s Largest Item and this adds to our collection of finds in Casey, IL. This one is not located in town but at the local golf course. Stands 30.5 feet tall! Perfect size for a giant or if they ever decide to build a World’s Largest Step-stool!

This was in Casey Illinois along with other "worlds largest" items. A nice little trip. It only took a couple of hours to see all the items around town. They have a map of these items on the Internet strongly suggest you print it out. The town has beautiful flowers planted everywhere and many quaint shops to visit. A definite must see if passing through.

Casey, Illinois is one cool little town with a lot of big cool attractions.

The first of the largest things we saw! Nice golf course. Love the signs around to show where tp find other "largest things". Easy to find and just a fun attraction, along with the others!

What fun! And the lady at the counter in the club house, she is so very cool! I came inside looking for just a small old golf tee to show this little boy who kept insisting that the big tee outside was really a flashlight! She handed me a package of tees just to show him, since he would be able to see through them and then here she comes with a golf ball to show him how it's done! People like that are a rarity, thank you!
It does kind of look like a huge flashlight, doesn't did! Lol!

The grandchildren had a great time, we made a scavenger hunt to find all the world's largest items. I would not recommend doing Casey Illinois on a Sunday when we were there everything was closed. For other fellow travelers check out our website at 2travelinggrandmas.com

Casey Il is the home of many world’s largest object. This little town has reinvented itself and it’s tourism by have many world’s largest items to attract you. The town is worth the visit and it is an interesting idea they had.

It take a little bit to see them all but well worth it. According to several locals I talked to they are averaging 5 to 7 tour buses a week plus a marked Increase in people visiting. It is worthy of being on your bucket list.

The largest golf tee is located in the Country Club in Casey!

Short walk from the parking lot thru the golf shop to the actual sculpture. Nice gifts at the shop. Inside, we got to sign in as visitors. Very friendly staff.

A lush 9 hole course that you repeat from a different tee box to make a full 18. The staff was friendly but make sure you have your own clubs. No rentals available. While here take a minute and visit the whole town! Such a fun little city with so many very big things!

At first, I passed this place. The directions I was getting were not accurate. When I arrived, you could see the Tee from a distance. I’ve never seen a Golf Tee that big so I was excited about it. I don’t like golf nor do I play it but maybe one day when I’m older and have more free time on my hands. I recommend visiting this place if you play golf or are an avid golfer.

It’s large. Not too far off the highway if you just wanted to stop by and see it or take a picture.

The golf tee had a platform that you can go up to get a better look at it! Very spiffy!

Cool attraction. Easy access to see it and they even offer a viewing platform for a better vantage point! Well worth the quick side trip.

It’s a nice and beautiful golf course and it’s the worlds biggest golf course too!
