Greathouse of Pizza

This place is Pizza Palace! There is no where nearby that you can get this quality of pizza. It’s worth the drive over to Casey IL for a taste of real pizza. They have several speciality pizzas to try. The deep dish is excellent. If you plan on ordering one be prepared for a 45 min wait. It’s totally worth it. They have great garlic knots and salads to start with. The only down side to this restaurant is the beverage they serve. I’m not one who enjoys Pepsi. If you do you’ll be in paradise in this small yet huge place of pizza.

I'm trying this for the first time. Their cheese sticks, prima Rosa, pizza, and sandwiches were all fantastic and quality. Will say the Italian beef had very little beef. I didn't deduct any points though. The one young waitress working tables is hustling and bustling. Great service. I'll be back

Central Illinois has its fair share of pizza posers, places that advertise "Chicago" style pizza but end up delivering something that underwhelms. I had heard good things about Greathouse of Pizza, so I drove the 30 min to give them a try.

The deep dish pizza is legit. It's very reminiscent of some of the mom and pop pizza places I grew up with back home in Chicago. The ingredients taste fresh and the crust is perfect. The sauce has a bit too much parmesan cheese for my taste, but that's just a personal preference.

I did carry-out and the pizza was still hot when I got it home 30 min later. I wish I would have dined in because the pizza would go great with a cold draft beer. And I really like the restaurant's decor. Seems like a cool place to eat.

If you haven't been there before, you really have to keep an eye out for the place because the sign is tough to notice from the street and the building itself is rather un-assuming.

Overall, it was well worth the trip. I'll absolutely be back to try their other crust styles and possibly some of their specialty pizzas.

My salad was wonderful,pizza the absolute best but I paid 7.99 for like a sample size of Mac and cheese. The atmosphere was very bland . Took a bit to get used to no waiters. The employee's very friendly.

Traveling through and stopped to see the Big Things in a Small Town. Didn't want fast food, so we opted to try Greathouse Pizza. Glad we did! Lots of options, friendly staff, and the pizza was amazing.

This place was very busy on Friday evenings. We had about a 45 minute wait for a table. We were in no hurry. While I waited the kids went around town collecting "World Largest" photos. The garlic knots are a must have! We had Sicilian style pizza, it was excellent.

First time eating here. Very pleased. Had the garlic knots as an appetizer- strongly recommend. Pizza was also excellent. Service was friendly and efficient. Will be back if ever in the area again!

I wish I didn't live so far away from this place, but I am a big fan of visiting the area. We made a day trip to Casey and have been talking about trying this place for a long time. So glad we did! The poifect pickle pizza and garlic knots were fantastic!! My family were also fans of the Piggie pie. We were so happy to have leftovers to bring home! So many other unusual options on the menu that we will be making the trip back soon. Great atmosphere and friendly servers. Highly recommend to make the stop and treat yourself!!

Visiting from out of town and found this local place for a bite to eat and it was great! Everything we ordered was fantastic. We had the cheese strips, a deep dish pizza, a thin pizza, and an Italian beef sandwich. Definitely recommend each of those! The deep dish pizza does take nearly an hour ro cook but is absolutely worth it! Only complaint is that they don't bring all the food out together so the people who ordered the sandwich and thin pizza were finished eating before the others got their deep dish pizza.

Definitely one of the best pizza custs i have ever tasted! Get the jalapeno popper pizza in deep dish. The desserts are one of a kind and the pizzas are so unique. They're not regular pizzas. The pizzas are definitely fresh and homemade. Their craft beer selection is impressive.

This place has got some really different takes on pizzas specials.
Some are really good. And the some not so much. If you find one you like you may not be able to get it next time.

Great pizza available in every crust you desire. Go early. This place is small and fills up fast.

Their pizza is always amazing. We had the deep dish and garlic knots and they were so good. Friendly service, nice atmosphere. It was chilly in the restaurant so bring a light sweater or something.

Food was delicious. The staff were super friendly. Glad we found this place while visiting Cary.

Great pizza (their "Wiseguy" was delicious) and cheese sticks. Their garlic dip was excellent.

Garlic knots......WOW great. The pizza was great and very filling. Such friendly wait staff I now know why its the great house of pizza everything was great...If you leave hungry you did something wrong. A bit expensive but worth it in the end.

Get the torpedo! You won't be sorry or go away hungry!

This is the BEST pizza I have ever had. By far! It's just a long drive from Terre Haute but I crave this place all the time now and can't wait to make the trip again. The ONLY thing this place could improve would be staff friendliness/customer service, but even that was a solid 4 star. Even the pricing is extremely affordable. Especially for larger families.
