World's Largest Wooden Shoes

Saw the "Attraction signs" off the interstate and decided why not. 100% worth it! Cutest "Small Town with Big Things" EVER!!! The World's Largest Wooden Shoes is located in the candy shop directory behind the Big Mailbox. Old fashion sweet shop with vintage and modern candy along with homemade desserts galore (truffles, brownies, bonbons, pies, etc). Staff was beyond friendly. Definitely worth a stop.

These amazing, huge wooden clogs are tucked inside of a cute shop with candy and baked goods. It was fun to find and we were lucky to be going through town when it was open. The shop area is also by the biggest mailbox and set in a beautiful garden area. Loved finding these!

The wooden shoes are housed in historic downtown building that dates back to the late 1800s. The wooden shoes gain the world's largest tidal on October 20th 2015 each shoe weighs approximately 2,500 lb. Currently the shoes have gained a large sum of donations due to the coins thrown into the shoes these are then donated to the big thing small town funds to continue to promote Casey and keep tourist areas looking beautiful. 4ft 9in tall. 11ft 5in long. Had a great adventure finding all these roadside attractions. Tucked inside a candy store, just behind the large mailbox. Free to come into the store and take pictures.

Casey Illinois is a must see! All the World's Largest sites are worth the stop! Take the time to visit! You won't be disappointed!

This candy store was amazing and full of small town charm. The gentle man working the counter was super friendly and personable! The shoes are quite the sight to be seen but the candy was the real win.

Pinocchio would love these shoes! Made of wood, these “World’s Largest Wooden Shoes” are a sight to be seen! Tucked into a candy shop, grab something sweet and then check out the feet…well, technically these would go on them! Might be the only pair that would be too big for an NBA player!

These were a little hard to find, in a candy store near the World's Largest Mail Box. Once we found them, they were very fun to stop and see! Candy store had a fun assortment, including some tasty truffles!

My kids and I enjoyed the adventure of finding all of the large items. It was on a Sunday so all of the restaurants were closed but none the less it was a memorable day. Will have to return we could not find the large wooden shoes or the large pitch fork.

Cute town and shop everything in this town is well kept. Wish we had more time to spend here

Cute shop, 2nd floor is dedicated to Christmas. 1st floor is mostly candy with some puzzles and vintage style lunch boxes. Staff was super friendly and quick to serve. Definitely worth a stop, the whole town is a nice place.

Most stores don't have anything for me, but these were just my size! A little stiff on the inside, and splinters are imminent, but still great footwear! Would highly recommend.

Cute little candy shop in a cute little town. Take the time to stop in town if you can. There are around 7 of the worlds largest items in town including wind chimes, rocking chair, and wooden shoes.

Casey is the neatest little town with all is "World's Largest Items". And it a little clean town that's embracing it's small hometown heritage & what it has to offer to visitors. Check it out, it'll be worth your stop.
