Drake's Florence

The service was really good here. The server was tied up so the manager got us drinks and helped until our server was available. We appreciated this. My dining partner got the chopped chicken salad and said it was really good so I took a bite too and it was good! I’m not super into salad and liked it a lot. The honey mustard dressing was really good too.
The buffalo chicken dip was okay. I didn’t understand the huge blob of cold sour cream in a hot dip. Not worth the steep price at all. The chips weren’t good, way over seasoned. The queso was okay.

The size of the portion for the fish tacos dish was large which was nice. The salsa and guac were good. The tartar sauce was super sweet and felt out of place.
The price of the meal might steer me away from going back as often though at $70 for 2 people with one soda and no alcohol. At least I had leftovers from the fish I guess.

Absolutely fantastic place! Drove around 40 minutes from a subarb of Cincinnati to get there am definitely wouldn’t hesitate to do it again!

Food was absolutely fantastic, service was great (shout out to Amanda who was our server - always on top of drink refills and quick to check on us - but also not overbearing - absolutely amazing).

Very kid friendly and a wide variety of food options. I tried everything from my daughter’s grilled cheese to my mother in laws queso burger. No disappointments and shouldn’t miss the shout out to the buffalo chicken wrap, buffalo chicken sliders and chicken asada tacos!!!

Would definitely make the trip back to Florence and Drakes!

11/16/23 Wanted to say how much we loved Parker as our server last night!

We love Drakes! I typically always get sushi but this burger looked way to good to pass up! It was delicious and should be a regular menu item! Highly recommend the garlic parm Mayo with the sweet potato fries!

Way better than any Applebees. It’s nice to enjoy a great burger, while my wife gets her sushi fix. If you like a Vegetarian burger or just like black bean burgers period. This is one of the best around.

Drakes in Florence definitely has that sports bar feel to it. There are 2 large bars in the restaurant with TVs everywhere. That said, it happens to be a bar that has really good food. There were people of all ages there and the atmosphere wasn't over the top loud. The Appetizers were both great and my burger was fantastic. Our server Angelina did an excellent job. Will definitely be back!!!! I should add that I'm not a drinker and didn't find that the atmosphere detracted from my overall experience.

What can I say. Drake's was awesome. It was amazing from our initial conversation for seating until we left the place the staff was awesome. It was a busy Saturday evening and our wait time was short. Our waitress was amazing and all of the staff was great. They have a great selection of draft beer and the food was delicious. The atmosphere was great, we will definitely be back.

Everything I've ever ordered from here was amazing. The service last time was kinda slow had to wait on my refill that never came then when I went to leave she apologized and asked if I wanted a to go cup. Everything else here is always great though.

This is definitely a “go-to” spot when we actually get out of the house. We really like the menu, and of course my fav is the sushi. The menu is mostly American style food, so easy to please even the finicky eater. They’re definitely following covid rules, so it seems safe to eat there. The wait staff has always been wonderful, food always comes out fast AND correct, prices are on target and portions are just right. Highly recommended for families, dates, business meetings, whatever! The bar area open up to a patio when it’s warm, and we tend to sit out there. Definitely worth a try!

Amazing place! The food was bomb! Our server Sylas was an amazing server & super helper. We ordered the steak & crab Rangoon, kids meals, turkey Swiss sandwich, & the teriyaki chicken bowl & everything was amazing. Also the cookie with ice cream was really good. Definitely will be back when in town.

This was my first visit to Drake's and I really enjoyed it. Sat at the bar with my wife for food and drinks. Atmosphere, service and food was really good.

How quickly Americans forget 9/11. I served in the military for 22 years. After Sept 11th, I could barely go anywhere without someone telling me thanks for my service or even trying to buy my meal. It was ubiquitous to get a military discount at businesses. Today, I’m usually told no when I query about military discounts, or they say they give discounts on Veterans Day. Well, then there is Drakes. Drakes gives a military discount everyday and it is a generous one at that. I am so grateful they continue to support the military. Their food is fantastic, the atmosphere is outstanding, and their service is exemplary. Thank you Drakes! You have a loyal customer for life! Aim High!

We arrived at 8:45 pm and were immediately seated outside on the patio. Restaurant was busy, but the staff was attentive. They have a beer of the month special on Tuesdays. This month it's Summer Shandy.
We got burgers and tots, yum! I got the Blue burger and the Bleu cheese did not overwhelm the burger, which I greatly appreciate.

Drake's was a great place to go. The beer selection was spectacular. I have 3 different styles of beers. The 3 mini Lucy burgers were great. Definitely will be going back when back in Florence Kentucky

I was so pleasantly surprised here! Upon first impression it felt a lot like a BJs, but there was more cool stuff on the screens that almost felt more like a hard rock cafe mixed with a sports bar. Also, the menu was an absolute game changer having both American bar food AND sushi. All good quality, service was great, couldn't love it more

Really loved this restaurant. The atmosphere was amazing. The service was awesome and the food was amazing. I had the mushroom Swiss smash burger it was great. Highly recommend this place and burgers and beer.

I absolutely love this place! Food is amazing! Must try Crab Rangoon sushi roll! My server Amanda was just as amazing! She was so helpful with suggestions on the food as well as making sure everything was perfect! If you haven't tried Drakes it's a must stop in Florence. Ask for Amanda as well she won't disappoint!

Caprese salad AMAZING, Sammie ice cream sandwich DELISH, SERVICE SPOT ON! A 3 Star on atmosphere because it was HOTINSIDE THE RESTAURANT

What a gem! Driving through from a day at the Creation Museum we found Drake's! Really a neat combination of steak and sushi! Great food, fun friendly servers and a super yummy cookie dessert for my hubby's 60th Birthday! Would love to hit this place on a summer weekend or in the winter! There's an awesome fireplace. ❤

The food and service was amazing. We had the tuna stack and 2 apple salads, they all recieved a huge wow! It is open seating the bar area is eye catching. A must in florence Kentucky. Happy eating.

Amazing food. First time trying this place! In town for the week and it looked good. Was not disappointed. 🌮
