Enjoyed the outdoor seating. Server was friendly and our food was delivered in a timely manner. Nice beer selection. We had the black bean burgers & fries. With the pretzels as our appetizer. All delicious!

The last time I was here was in November 2015. I'm not sure if it was called "Uptown Tavern" at that time.

I came with a friend to get some Taylor's Chili.

The bar area is nice, with a sort of elegant appearance. Looks classic.

If I lived in Carlinville, I'd probably be a regular here.

The food was very good, but the only downfall is that the food was small for the price

One of my favorite restaurants around! The pony shoes are great and the fries and cheese curds are fantastic. Workers are nice, helpful, and friendly. Amelia’s noodle nuggets ( macaroni and cheese bights!) are a very good choice for kids! Definitely a good choice for lunch or dinner!

This was exactly what I hoped for in a classic small town restaurant. Staff was super friendly and patient, food was excellent! Went there for lunch for the first time today and have every intention of becoming a regular customer. Phenomenal!

We stumbled upon this place and it was fantastic. We stopped for lunch and the food was very good. The fries were probably some of the best I've ever tasted.

Bellied up for a couple drinks with my Minnesota friend. Great Bloody Mary & beer. Atmosphere is unique and very personable staff. Will return to drink and check out menu.

Friendly waitresses with a thank you and a smile promp service good foods and drinks. You can go in and waitress is there imedeatly drinks served right away order is taken as you take ur time or right away .time enough to settle in and cool down and relax and before you no it your eating your large and delicous meal.and ur waitress is peridocaly checking in on you. Great place to relax cool down and eat a great meal i would recomend this place too everyone

I had the Hot and Sticky burger, it was fantastic. Peanut butter, honey, bacon, jalapeno, it's a combination that is absolutely meant to be on a burger.

Have eaten here many times and it is always great food and very friendly atmosphere. A must eat place.
