Best breakfast ever! Pancakes were light and fluffy. Hash was not greasy with good flavor. The American fries were great and tasty. Eggs were cooked just to order. My husband ate the Haystak and he said it was "most delicious"

We stumbled upon Abella's this morning. What a pleasant surprise. The food was good. The prices were reasonable and the wait staff was friendly and attentive. I was a little concerned, because everyone who came in seemed to be a regular. I thought the wait staff might be so busy talking to the regulars, that our service might suffer. This was not the case. Abby took very good care of us. She made us feel welcome.

This place is so wonderful! The people are always so friendly, the owner is a genuinely good guy, and the decor is perfect for a small-town diner. The food, though, is amazing. Personally I'd recommend either the "Pony Shoe" or the "Captain Crunch French Toast." The latter might sound strange; but trust me, it is delicious!

Abella's will always hold a special place in my heart. There's a reason this diner has been in business for over a decade. The owner is probably one of the best people I've met; he cares so much about his business that he works with his staff and talks to his customers. The restaurant itself has a cozy and warm atmosphere. The staff are ALL wonderful people and provide outstanding service. The food is the best part: it's fresh and flavorful. The coffee is to die for. Best in the county; hands down. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to the best diner Macoupin County has to offer.

We absolutely adore Abella's. The Sunday buffet is absolutely stellar and the owner is kind and accommodating. We love their wide selection of hot sauces- I'm pretty sure we've tried all of them and discussed them at length. I took a survey and 10/10 would recommend. Great food and great people!

They serve the best food. I love going there for breakfast whenever I'm in Carlinville. They have the best biscuits and gravy hands down! The gravy is perfect, not watered down or lacking that good pepper taste like other restaurants. The prices are very reasonable and the staff is wonderful.

The best place ever in the world to work. Everyone that is like a big family. The customers get treated just like us. If you want a great family resteraunt this is the place. the good is all home made and amazing I eat there almost everyday. :) come in a see us soon

All their food is made from scratch and it is delicious! Prices are reasonable. Daily specials. Friendly staff. They smoke their own meat. We eat there often

I stopped for the Sunday buffet, it was not fancy (diner quality), but had good variety. The severs were very friendly and they earned the restaurant the 5th star.
