Clean fast friendly and the best fresh butcher cuts of meat ever. All my family and friends drive for miles some even from out of state for primal meat. I don't eat any store bought meat and will never again thanks to primal. We recommend everyone try out primal they are the best. Carl is the most awesome butcher ever.

Best meat anywhere Near Carlinville! Huge selection of both meat, hand cut to your desire, and beer varieties, wines and spirits. Carl Starr makes a point to satisfy everyone. I recommend Thursday because he smokes ribs all day! Falls off the bone. Buy a rack or 2 and just make your sides. So nice when you want a great meal and have a busy day. Love this business!!!

Primal meats has the best cuts of beef in the area, as well as meats and beer choices you can't get anywhere else in the area. Even if you're not hungry, definitely go I. Just to check the place out. I guarantee you'll be back!

Great customer service. Exciting new and impirted cheeses , Carl makes several dipping sauces and marinade. Meat market is awesome always frest. He also carries bison mesy. Beer is always cold.
