Super 8 by Wyndham Alton

It's Clean, cheap, w/good service, good free breakfast, and it's close to a Target/restaurants. My room had a fridge (awesome) but lacked one of the mini-coffee machines virtually everywhere has (weird). Took my Wyndham rewards points, and overall is one of the nicer Super8's I've stayed at. I'll stay here again next time I'm at Bing Field for a big event.

The overnight shift workers strive to keep all areas clean and COVID-19 compliant. They keep the coffee bar stocked and coffee fresh at all times. Though I didn't stay, I had an early train to catch. The staff were warm and inviting. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here. Conveniently located near the train station and nature/exercise trail, and top class staff. If all I had was coffee, I can only imagine how they keep the rooms and treat their guests!

We needed to stay overnight as we were moving and already packed the bed. The staff was extremely friendly and only really had a few complaints which were minor ($100 refundable fee due to issues with people smoking in the rooms and the 11am checkout time). The price was great and the beds were some of the most comfortable I've sleeped in during my travels. Would definitely recommend and use again.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, but by far the best part is the staff! Jennifer was so welcoming and friendly, very knowledgeable and genuinely went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of. Will definitely be recommending this Super 8!

I work here so I'm not sure how people will view my review but here it is...this is one of the nicest places I have worked. That includes staff and hotel. We do have some guests who complain about a few things but for the most part the people who stay here have always said they enjoyed their stay. So in my opinion Super 8 is Great!

Had a mixup with our reservation, likely caused by our very late (or early am as the case may be) arrival resulting in the desk clerk not being able to find our reservation and us being charged a cancellation fee for said reservation. Upon calling the hotel once we realized, the lady who answered the phone happened to be the same lady who checked me in. She quickly reversed the larger of the two amounts for the inconvenience and much to my surprise. This was the first night of a long spring break road trip with three children from Ohio to California and back, so the quick resolution was welcomed since funds were tight to begin with. Plus the couple extra bucks saved with the higher amount reversal meant a couple extra souvenirs on our trip, an excellent way to impress young children. Beds were so comfortable we overslept breakfast, but the morning worker was just cleaning up and allowed myself and children to grab a couple quick items (yogurt, cereal, milk cartons, and Danishes/cinnamon rolls). Overall a nice stay, even if it was still one of the more pricy stops on our trip.

I had reserved a room for two nights at this Super 8 in Alton,IL and I later had to change my plans to stay for only one night instead. When I went online I was unable to make the change so I cancelled the reservation all together and was going to just re-book it for the one night but come to find out this hotel was totally booked on the date I requested and it would not let me book it for one night. This was all my fault because I made the mistake of cancelling the reservation. I called the hotel directly and spoke with the front desk supervisor Lainey and explained the situation. Lainey was fantastic! She was very helpful and very professional she immediately helped me with my problem and resolved the situation and got me a room for the one night that I needed. Your Awesome Lainey!

Beautiful room! Everything was clean and well maintained for an amazing price! We even had waffles for breakfast both days! I will be back on my next trip! AAA+++

Since the remodel this place looks amazing. A lot of work has went into it. The staff is amazing. Go book a room today.

Friendly staff, clean room & a quite place. Breakfast was nice, with fresh waffles and yogurt.

I had an exemplary time at super 8. The service from Ms. Erica and Ms. Destiny was phenomenal. I felt at ease any time day or night. I will be coming back.

This is about the 5th time we've stayed at this location near our daughter's family. Very helpful & courteous staff, plus Wyndham points--that we have used for other stays.
