WE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE! The best kept secret of the locals. Ribs are amazing and the FISH FRY...out of the world.The German Potato Salad, will make you cry by bring back memories of being at Grandmas house!!!Owner, bartenders and servers are efficient and friendly. You go in order your food and when a table is ready, your food will be on the table waiting for you. OH YES, they do know how to make one heck of a Old Fashion!! We go every week now since finding this place during Lent this year. You won't be disappointed!!!

When I'm in town I always have a great traditional Milwaukee Friday Fish Fry here with a brandy ole fashioned Wisconsin style. Fun atmosphere where the locals go. I'd recommend arriving by 4 to get a table or a spot at the bar. I've made some new friends every time.

I gave them 5 Stars for Atmosphere but don’t expect a 5 Star restaurant this is a quant small town bar/ restaurant. We go for the Friday Fish Fry, they take your order when you arrive and seated when food is ready. I had the Baked Cod I have a big appetite and was very satisfied with the LARGE portion at a reasonable price. They are always packed but with their efficient system you get served in a reasonable time.

The 1 hour wait was sooooo worth it. I had baked fish and it went from one side of the plate to the other side. The hot german potato salad was JUST like my moms!!❤My husband had the comb fish plate and he eat it so fast. Never been here but now we found our go to fish fry!! You won't be disappointed. Only wierd thing you order when you get there,and when your time and table is ready your plate is waiting for you at the table!! Fast and efficient staff!!

Quaint tavern for fish fry and old fashionds. OLD fashioned is the word. If patrons weren't drinking an old fashioned, (which were delicious)they were drinking seagrams and 7, korbel and coke, or Bud light. Nobody drinks these anymore but they do there. Drink what you like even if it is out of style. Food was great. They do it right.

Hot fish with crispy batter, German potato salad, cole slaw and rye bread; it's all delicious. What makes this quintessential Wisconsin fish fry (yes, served in a corner bar) stand out from the rest is its presentation. First place order with waitress; then make way to bar. Enjoy cocktail while waiting for dinner. When all is ready, waitress takes you to table. And there's your food, just waiting for you to indulge! The place is very small, the people are super friendly and they accept cash only. ATM machine available in corner of bar.

Wow . The broasted chicken is the best I've had in Wisconsin and I'm born and raised here. Affordable place and great service.
Highly recommend but be warned they've been known to sell out of their chicken.

I've heard good things about this place for a while now, and was finally able to check it out... it did not disappoint. If you're looking for a fancy sit down restaurant, this isn't it. But if you're looking for a good old fashioned and a fish fry, this IS the place!

It's a little different than a normal restaurant, as they take your order before you sit down, and it's cash only.

Very good chorizo tacos For Cinco DE Mayo they needed some salsa but we just asked and they brought a container for us. I would definitely get again.
