Five ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Stars all around, they’re great! Their cinnamon roll Latte really does taste like a cinnamon roll. The first time I ordered it, I ordered a small size, and it tasted absolutely perfect! The second time, (I really need more caffeine) I ordered the regular size which is probably about 12 ounces of liquid. They use two shots of espresso in the hot regular sized drink, but if you want it to be iced then you will only get one shot of espresso. Because there’s more espresso in the regular sized drink versus the small, some of the sweet, cinnamon roll taste has given way to the espresso…maybe I will have them add some extra flavoring next time and tweak it to my taste. It’s amazing, and their tasty apple cider doughnut is nice and soft and spongy.😀

This place is sick, yo. Only the realest of the real work here. You gotta be tough enough to eat a bowl of nails without milk, just to walk in the door. This ain't your corporate coffee. Nor is it your mustache twirling, fart sniffing, nerd coffee. It's just good coffee done real good, and that's real.

My absolute favorite coffee spot! I visit a lot and it's soooo good every single time! Not to mention their coffee is just so smooth. My favorite part is the staff. They seem to enjoy being there. I hope they really do. It means a lot to me to see them smile and have a good time at work.

I'm a frequent visitor and I have never had a negative experience with this location. They are always clean and polite. The drinks are my absolute favorite. It's my favorite thing ever when they draw little pictures on my cup as it brightens my day!

WOW! First time here today and the staff is so nice. They were so helpful with drink recommendations, I felt like I was talking to some old friends. The interior is impeccable, very laid back with industrial rustic inspired decor. Free Wifi and great music. I ended up getting the Ube latte per the workers recommendation. It's made from potatoes, is a mild hazelnut and honey flavor, it's purple and caffeinated!! 10/10 can't wait to come back

Wonderful staff and products. Not enough four armed soldier monkeys. I usually ask the barista to give me some surprise flavor, and am never disappointed! And for coffee, the price is usually rather cheap for such wonderful items.

The blackberry basil tea was the perfect refreshing summer drink! Honey Cinnamon latte was also delicious! Great flavors and a great space to sit and enjoy a drink!

Always delicious, and the frozen banana split latte is the best frozen latte I've ever had hands down! I know it's only for summer but I'll be crushed when it leaves the menu!

My favorite place to get iced coffee (GBH is my fave and the kids love the smoothies!) Every single person who works there has been very kind, and patient with me! (Sometimes the kids want their own names on the cups).Always have a great experience 😄

GERMÂNIA Will forever have heart. They are always my first stop when I go back home to Alton, and my last stop when I have to come back up to Chicago. The staff is always truly amazing, the coffees are always super delicious, and the feel of Germânia is just truly wholesome. I really wished they had one here in Chicago.

These people were great. Within minutes of arrival, my two year old proceeded to puke on their floor. They were so sweet, and very helpful given the situation. Coffee was good, and the little sweets were a fun little treat. Ten stars y'all.

I am writing a dual review since there are two Germania Brew so close together and I visit both frequently. Godfrey store is my favorite. They just have superior staff, drink quality and general care for the customers that visit. I would love to say the same of the Alton location but there has been a gentleman working there that makes it akward to order as a customer, or deliver as a driver. Only negative thing to say about either store really. Amazing amazing everything else. Get a sweater, they are awesome.

My wife and daughters love the coffee here. I think the frozen mocha is my wife's new favorite.

It was my first time there a few days ago I got the GBH it’s amazing I am looking forward to trying new things. It’s a great study environment. Staff is very nice.

Their coffee is so delicious! Everything that I have tried has been off the chain. Today I tried the UBE, it's PURPLE and OMG soo good it's both pleasing to the eye and the buds 😋💜
