Lansing Municipal Airport

It's always one of the best airports. (And I have worked at or flown into most of them) in the Chicagoland region.
Friendly staff. Helpful. The airport always looks very well maintained and inviting. It has greatly improved since I first visited in 1963.
It is one of the most historic sites and was an integral part of Henry Ford's vision to vastly improve the airline industry. Research is, it's fascinating!

Starting some CFII work on the field and I can honestly say I like this airport. This airport has everything I need. It's has approaches, better priced fuel, non towered, outside of Chicagos busy airspace and two nice sized runways. No complaints... Of yet.

Excellent B. B Q. and everything else. Fantastic side dishes, good music 🎵 on weekends.

Taking my first flight lessons everyone is super friendly I recommend Al as a flight instructor he is extremely patient and polite, he is also very wise.

Long runways both EW and NS. 24 hour credit card fuel system. mechanic on premise. nice helpful friendly folks. clean facilities.
