La Taqueria

Stopped in for lunch today around 1pm. Not too busy for a post lunch hour midweek, which was nice for me. I chose the special, Taco ABC, (Avocado, Bacon, Chicken) and that was a great choice. 2 were a perfect amount for me and I really liked the lime wedge on the side to give the tacos some extra oomph, but they were delicious. I will definitely order this again.
I liked the large dining room with lots of choices where to sit, and wear thankful to find a spot where there was no TV on and I could just enjoy the Latin music while I waited for my food.

A friend recommended the street tacos so we thought we’d check it out. As soon as we walked in felt at home. Staff was courteous and helpful while ordering. Food was wonderful. Started with chips and queso. Generous portions of both. Kids has cheese quesadilla and taco salad. My husband and I had tamales, street corn and tacos. All of it was very good. Only thing I would have changed was better tequila in the Margarita.
Restaurant was clean and saw staff regularly cleaning while we were there. Will definitely be back! Thanks again to the staff for being so kind and helpful while ordering! Also enjoyed watching the Futbol game that was on tv.

This restaurant was recommended to me by someone who lives in the area. It has counter service, and they bring the food out to where you’re sitting. I had the beef burrito and a diet Pepsi. The food was plentiful, tasty, and the service was great. The server brought me out some salsa and with the leftover food she even give me some salsa to take with me. This is a good choice for a quick meal at a reasonable price. Actually for me, it will be two meals because there’s so much food so I have plenty of leftovers. This is a definitely a “go to” when you’re in Wisconsin Rapids.

Absolutely amazing food! Loved the house hot sauces — careful, they’re spicy!! 🌶 The a la carte ordering style is nice and prices are great. The traditional pollo tacos are delicious!

Traveling to the Green Bay area often I've always wanted to try authentic Mexican cuisine from the shops I've seen there.
Finally I get the chance, this place does not disappoint.
The burritos are huge, tacos are traditional sizes and very flavorful.
The ceviche is very tasty too.
If you're a true lover of cuisine then you'll love this spot.

The food there is amazing. It is not salty there is no grizzle. In their Taco asada Lego basic with onion and cilantro. Their burritos are huge they come with beans rice meat and pico de gallo. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you. Best tacos I've had in a long time. 👍👍👍👍👍

I am in from out of town and found this place on Google maps so I thought I would give it a try. For a Monday dinner rush the wait want too bad - maybe 5 minutes. I ordered the steak burrito and it was fantastic. This burrito had extra flavors from the tomatoes and onions. One of the best burritos I've had in quite some time.

My favorite place to go, placed an order online and it was ready for me by the time I got there and they gave us sauces on the side exactly as I wanted. Will always be a customer here.

Greater variety in menu options than I have ever seen. So many delicious choices I had a hard time deciding. Huge cake display with several desserts. Lots of drink options other than typical fountain soda. This place is amazing. Outside patio. Big table for big groups. Clean bathrooms. Lots of tv's.

The fish tacos were the best I've had in YEARS, possibly the best I've had in the US!! The margaritas (had both strawberry & mango), chips & queso, street corn & churros were also delicious! Was only in town for 4 days & ate here 3 times in 4 days!! Wish I lived closer & could visit weekly. IF I'm ever back, this will be one of the 1st places I go!!

Spectacular food, service and atmosphere! I came to visit the area and was told about these great tacos and the whole experience did not disappoint! The pastor and fish tacos were fire!!

Wedding catering. They provided a street taco buffet with all the trimmings for my daughter’s wedding. Everything was perfect. The service was excellent, very professional and courteous. Obviously, the food was amazing! I had so many positive comments from guests. I would recommend them for anybody and any occasion. Thank you La Taqueria!

Probably the most authentic street tacos you’ll get in central Wisconsin. I spent most if my life in AZ and missed mexican food like crazy. Most of the alternatives out this way are pretty basic and bland. These guys get everything right! Their burritos are big enough for two meals, tacos are delicious, and I love their churros. I wish only the best to these guys as they are grade A service!

If you are in the mood for some street tacos, this is absolutely the place to stop!

Chorizo, carnitas and shrimp tacos are the best. This is the medium Cantaritos drink. Strong! The two normal tamales on the menu could have more flavor, but the super tamale (in image) was good. Added "to go" pictures of a quesadilla, tacos and Super Tamale!

I stopped in for a bite while visiting my parents and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered a California Burrito, which was better than the one I had in Houston! The fries were very crispy and the meat was well seasoned. I'd look forward to eating here again if I could convince my dad to try Mexican food.

The first time I went, I got the Carne Asada Cali Fries, and they were delicious. The portions were huge, and I easily had another meal from that dish. Tonight I tried the Chori Pollo Bowl, and that was equally amazing. I have a second meal out of tonight's entree too. I tend to stick to what I like when I go somewhere new. Both times with La Taqueria I tried something I wouldn't normally order, and I am so glad I did. I can't wait to try more things on the menu!

I love this place. I try to stop here when I am in town. Great food, great service, nice atmosphere,and outstanding value.

Great service and wonderful food. I liked how the manager came by and checked up on everyone. Good covid protections in place. Definitely reccomend. I got a California burrito bowl. Cant remember what my fiance got but it was very filling.

Very freindly and helpful staff! The food was very good. When I am in town again I will be eating there!
