My daughter asked my wife and I to see “real firefighters” for her 4th birthday. I called the Morris Fire Protection & Ambulance District Station 2 and setup a time for us to stop by the firehouse. The staff went above and beyond for my daughter’s birthday to make it something she will never forget. The entire staff helped welcome us and gave us a tour of the station and various vehicles used for emergencies. One of the best parts was that two of the firefighters were females, which my daughter has talked about how she could be just like them when she grows up. Truly inspirational and we want to thank the entire fire department of Grundy County for everything you do and making her day so special.
