The Forest Park Fire Dept. is THEE BEST! They do more than just put out fires, they help the community with other tasks that you’d never even think you need…until you do!

Hats off to RICH at the department!! I had an alarming situation with a ring that was stuck on my swollen finger. And after calling 911 and using Google for suggestions, I learned that the fire department may be able to offer assistance.

When I called, the personnel that answered the phone was polite and looked into my inquiry regarding the ring. I was able to come to the station, and Rich, so patiently and diligently, removed the ring (actually a double) within several minutes. This selfless act from a member of our fire department, saved me a trip to the ER and most importantly, A FINGER!!! I am TRULY grateful for this experience! #youROCK
