Amazing restaurant! Our server, Evelyn, was on top of her game! She was excellent: friendly, thoughtful, fast and detailed oriented. A large group came in and she came straight over to take our orders and get them to the kitchen so we wouldn’t have to have a long wait. That was truly appreciated! The busboy was awesome too! Extra napkins, more hot coffee, water and clearing away dirty dishes like clockwork! Very good team!
The pancakes were the best I’ve had in years!!!
Light, fluffy sweet but not too sweet and just plain pretty! I had the Mexican Skillet with chorizo. Oh that was the bomb! I had to take out the jalapeno peppers because they were seriously hot, but the eggs were scrambled perfectly and the potatoes were crispy on the outside but tender in the middle! Even the avocado was great! Excellent!!!
Mama had waffles and ordered 2 more they were so good. Daddy had sausages, eggs, hash browns and pancakes! Happy camper!
One real plus about this restaurant… enough food! There is no skimping here! There were take home trays for sure. I couldn’t eat it all!
Note: Tip was added to our bill. It may be customary but you should be told that in advance. For us the 18% added was not nearly enough for the service we received so we added cash to it. Honestly, you have got to try this place. You will not be disappointed!

Yia Yia's Pancake House is an absolute gem! I had the pleasure of dining multiple times here for breakfast, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was in for a treat. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing morning meal. The service was prompt and friendly, making me feel right at home. I Ordered Tina's Combo at Yia Yia's Pancake House. It is a delightful breakfast choice that combines the best of both worlds. When the plate arrived, it was a feast for the eyes. Two perfectly golden pancakes, each the size of a dinner plate, formed a base for this scrumptious creation. They were flawlessly cooked, with a slight crispness around the edges that gave way to a tender, fluffy interior. right in between these pancakes was a generous portion of succulent ham. The ham was savory and had a slight smoky flavor that added depth to the dish. It was thick enough to satisfy but not overwhelming, allowing the other components to shine. The highlight of the dish, without a doubt, was the two sunny-side-up eggs perched on top of the pancakes. The eggs were cooked to perfection, with whites that were just set and yolks that were gloriously runny. When I cut into them, the yolks oozed out and mingled with the ham and pancake, creating a mouthwatering symphony of flavors. Each bite was a harmonious blend of sweet and savory, with the pancakes providing a subtle sweetness that balanced the richness of the ham and eggs. The combination of textures and flavors was a true delight for the taste buds. I left Yia Yia's Pancake House with a full and happy belly, already looking forward to my next visit. If you're in search of a breakfast that's both comforting and delicious, look no further.

Very attentive & service was fast. I definitely recommend coming here. The food was great.

Great food and great vibes. Had the crispy chicken panini with a pumpkin iced coffee.

Food was good & hot. Waitress was kind and attentive. My Breakfast order and Lunch orders were accurate. My orders didn't take long to come out to me.
The restaurant is clean, but cold because of the weather and people were coming in and out of the restaurant constantly.

Awesome breakfast place, all the food was great. Definitely recommend the Blueberry Lemon Pancakes.

I should have taken pictures of my meal but to be honest I was famished and everything look so incredibly good! I had yia Tia's chicken and waffle and it came with a side of bacon and gravy and it was the bomb. Everything was well seasoned and the portion size, men I had to bring a box of leftovers. Absolutely delicious. Will definitely be back. Keep up the good work

Went when they were busy, but still got food in around 10minutes. Fantastic prices, especially for the serving sizes. Very nice staff. Waitress was very sweet. Incredibly tasty gluten free pancakes. Highly recommend and I will be going again.

I didn't expect a hearty meal, but they have big portion sizes when it comes to food at a reasonable price, on top that the food is delicious (I ordered Yia Yia's omelet). The ambiance does feel like you are at home. The servers are multilingual, and they do follow up to make sure you are having a wonderful time and enjoying your meal.

This family restaurant is ran well. Once you walk in you'll notice its Super clean & Very stylish decoration inside. The food was the best ever. Amazing breakfast & lunch options. Great service. This was my first time coming here & I'm definitely coming back plus telling my family & friends how good of an experience it was. Highly recommend

Very good food, generous portions. Carla's service was wonderful. Although another waitress openly threw shade at her, Carla quickly salvaged the uncomfortable moment with sincere charm. I watched her multitask, serving, training, and being pleasant throughout, an excellent team member.

Oh my gosh the French toast was so delicious. It had a great crunch to it and the inside was nice and fluffy. The homemade orange juice was delicious as well. Not too sugary and had a nice taste.The wait staff was great and definitely contributed to the family feel. I was very impressed with how fast they took care of our group. I definitely will be stopping back in the next time we are in town.

This was my first time eating here. I knew it was going to be good eating because the parking lot was full..lol! Eventhough it was crowded, we were seated fairly quickly. Our server came to our table in a timely manner with compliments and a smile. Her name was Daisy. She was so welcoming and pleasant. Her service was exceptional considering how busy she was. Hats off to the chef. I had the steak skillet which was absolutely delicious. It was hot and in abundance which made for another meal the next day. I also liked the coffee Cafe inside and thought that was a nice touch. Most restaurants serve light to medium roasted coffee; however, having the opportunity to order an expresso shot put the icing on top of the entire experience. I will definitely be coming back and with more friends. KUDOS TO YIA YIA'S PANCAKE HOUSE!

Food is great, service great, atmosphere great. There are reasons why some restaurants are full while others not so much. Even though they were packed, the food was prompt with no problems. Coffee kept coming, always hot. My cousin will be here tomorrow. This place is on my agenda.

I decided to go to breakfast by myself. I hadn't been here in a while. The service was spot on. The food was delicious. It was very crowded, but everything came out in good time. I think I drank a pot of coffee by myself!

AMAZING LOVE It They close so early, this is by far one of the best places I like to go, and Let me tell you alot of people in my family is extremely picky, Extremely especially with restaurants, but this right here always 5 stars in my.book, perfect for lunch, brunch, breakfast, mainly breakfast, Go when they open its worth it oh and they close around 4pm..so early birds only , (I mean Look at that. break fest..) Great food and quick service! There's bilingual staff that can take your order in Spanish if needed. They have a large selection of food that ranges from breakfast to dinner.

I frequently come to this neighborhood location and have had great experiences service& foodwise delivery, pick-up, or dine in ( before and during this Pandemic) ! This particular visit was worth a stellar review - I tried their red velvet French Toast and to is quite fantastic! Best I have had in Chicago area 🙌🏽
