Cute little place. It’s oriented towards kids and collectors. The owner greeted everyone whom came in and was very helpful to my questions. Will try to come back when I’m in the area. Got some cute buttons.

Great selection of comics, they also help you find what you need etc. Very helpful, lots of figures too.
The owner knows his comics, so you can ask him questions. He also will hunt down a comic for you. So awesome.

Had a large variety of comics/books as well as some Pokemon stuff. The people working there were kind, and the Pokemon cards they did have were fairly priced.

Jesse, the owner, makes this place feel like you're visiting a friend's house. Any issues you may have, he'll fix on the double. Comics are fairly priced. You'll never have to worry about them not being in stock if you make an account on the website and preorder through your shortlist. The website is well designed and ordering your comics from the shortlist is easy as can be. When you buy from the shortlist, the comics will be marked as previously purchased so you'll know what you've bought and haven't. You're not just buying comics here, you're joining a community. Cannot recommend this place enough.

I was headed to a different destination when I drove passed this store. When I was headed home, I made sure to drop in - [COMICS] will always grab my attention. The store is nice, has a good selection of back issues for DC, Marvel and Indie titles, as well as graphic novels. I really like the comic packs and are fairly priced for popular runs/arcs. Their new releases are clearly marked and organized. I originally came to look for some obscure toys or statues- fairly limited selection but I had a fun time looking through their stock. It was also nice to see a small group of guys playing Magic the Gathering (I think?). I love visiting comic shops so this was a bright spot of that day.

This is the first time my daughter (14) and I (woman of a certain age) have ever been in a comic book store. I had no idea what to expect. We walked out with every book the owner recommended. He was so kind and giving of his time to help us newbies understand where to begin. He spoke directly to my daughter asking her what she specifically liked within the Marvel universe and made pointed recommendations based on her interests. His knowledge of storylines was impressive. He could not have been more inviting and helpful. What a warm and welcoming first step this was into the wonderful world of comics. Highly, highly encourage you to visit this establishment.

I have been shopping at Modern Age Comics for years. The owner, Jessie, is very accommodating and great to work with. He has a really nice selection of comics, figures, statues, cards, and other interesting stuff. Additionally, Jesse offers very sage advice when it comes to investing in certain comics, whether to CGC an item, grading, trends, as well as seeming to know about every comic written in the last 100 years! Go visit!

I just left from here and have nothing but good things to say about it. It was my first time buying comic books and I knew ahead of time what I wanted. I went into the store and was greeted by a friendly smile from the owner. He asked if I needed help and he showed me where to find what I was looking for. We got to talking and I told him what I liked and he gave me tons of suggestions for my next read. I'll definitely be coming back! Super friendly, welcoming environment, even for a newbie like me.

Fantastic Comic and Game Shop

Good selection of new and used comics, clean and friendly. Well-lit and well organized. The owner is super nice and has an encyclopedic knowledge of comics. A family and female friendly environment. Fun comics discussion group Saturday mornings and gaming of all kinds throughout the week.

Solid selection with excellent customer service. If he doesn't have it, he can get it. Comics are bagged and boarded, and his subscription service is terrific. The shop is completely family friendly, too, with all-ages comics plus a knowledgeable owner who works with local libraries who can help you find what you're looking for if you're new to comics. The Saturday morning comics discussion group is also a great way to hear about new comics and maybe try titles you wouldn't have otherwise. It's a shop that also has a strong and welcoming community, and that makes it stand out in my eyes.

I love modern age comics. I been a regular customer of theres since October of last year. They are great people and always willing to help you find what your looking for. For any comic readers weather your a beginner looking for a good start, or someone whose moved to the area and looking for a store to continue business. I recommend this shop 100%

While this store was sold out of a lot of the new comics I was looking for, their back catalogue was very impressive. Tons of comics, graphic novels, collectibles and a limited tabletop gaming selection. The staff was friendly and helpful. Would recommend this store to anyone in the area looking to buy comics.

Nice, organized store. I get tired of walking into comic stores that are poorly organized with too much other clutter. It was nice to go into a comic store that focuses on only comics, instead of toys and all the other extra junk sold in some comic stores. It was also nice to walk in as a female comic fan and not be talked down to by certain male employees, like I've experienced at other stores. Just a nice, simple, clean, well organized store, run by a knowledgeable manager. Very nice guy.
