Irish Tyme Pub

Went to brunch on a Sunday and as soon as we walked in we lives the atmosphere. We were seated right away, the service was incredible. We never waited for anything and our bottomless mimosas were never empty. The food was very good, we had “The Hangover” which although not health conscious was one of the better things we’ve had anywhere. We also had the egg and pepper sandwich which was very fresh and good. The hash browns are different from anywhere else I’ve had them, they were so good, crispy on one side fluffy on the other. The portions are generous so be prepared to take some home. Will definitely be back to try the regular menu.

Cute pub with several dining areas and a pretty bar area. The building is historic and has loads of original wood. Food is good. Love the potato skins! The corned beef and cabbage is also tasty. Their burgers are delicious as is the fish and chips.

Was in on St. Patrick's day. Ample help who were really hustling. Food was good. Music a bit too loud, but I like to talk to my friends in a normal tone.

I like sitting in bar area as it is really cute.

Had their bbq burger with their own rootbeer BBQ sauce, cheese straws, cheddar on pretzel bun. Delicious! Hubby had corned beef and said it was very tasty. Beer was really good, too! 😉 we will be back. 1st floor has a long bar and some small tables for dining. 2d floor is the larger dining room. (Did not go up. There is an elevator in this building ♿ )

Nice Friday afternoon lunch, Fish&Chips and Summer Salad and Beached Buffalo Bourbon Summer Cocktail. Customer Service was solid and food was delicious

This is a new start up restaurant in downtown Plainfield. The interior is very hip and has a pub like vibe to it. We say at a small table with super comfy chairs which made it feel like a lounge (very cool). The staff were all exceptional and easy to talk to. The meals we got were true hearty irish dishes. Simple and very tasty dishes that are well worth the money. On the background they have soft irish music playing and even had rugby on the TV's. We tried the pretzels with beer cheese which was a great appetizer. Wife went with bangers and mash. Sausage was delicious with the seasonings. Corned beef sandwich was above average. The stout cream onion soup was AMAZING!!! Nice and salty broth with the cooked onions. I could of just had a huge bowl of soup for dinner it was so good. Bar drinks were good as well. Water glass was always full with a well placed lemon wedge.

Great hard working bar staff. Mixing up some great cocktails, including a proper old fashioned. Fresh Guinness on tap properly poured! Nice selection of Irish whiskeys and assortment of bourbons. Irish pork cutlet sandwich was great, so was the Irish Stew!

This Irish Pub was a cute spot with a chill atmosphere. Food was delicious and the service was friendly and prompt.

The corned beef sandwich was great. The bartenders did a great job and the music was awesome.

Stopped by on a Friday night and it was not the busiest place but the hospitality and food was amazing.Definitely worth a stop!

Very good place, Irish potato skins and scotch eggs are delicious. Guinness beef stew is really good but I would tell then to put more meat in it. Irish tacos are good too. Definitely recommend.

Great food with an authentic flair and cozy atmosphere.

This was my first time there. Was there with a couple other people and it was a fabulous time. The bartender behind bar Adam was awesome he very knowledgeable and had great people skills. Hey made drinks for a couple people who just gave them suggestions on what they liked. His presentation of different drinks was great. It is a whiskey bar with tons of different. They have limited beers on tap which wasn't great but they do have varieties of can/bottle beer. We didn't have anything to do can't say how food is but will go back again and try food. I would recommend this place for anyone just wanting to go a have a few drinks and nice time in a casual and warm space.

They have a great menu that will require more visits!

I thought I was back at my old pub 😪 lovely place, beautiful music. We enjoyed the Buffalo dip egg rolls. The Guinness root beer wings were interesting, but I couldn't decide if they were just too odd. Try them and let me know.

My wife and i made reservations last night for the opening. We ended up staying for 5 hours or so! Our server was Lyndsie. She was quick, upbeat, and fun. We found out later that this is her first serving gig, and were both shocked, because she was awesome. Sean the manager came over and talked to us about some of their signature drinks. We tried a few and all the ones we had were tasty. We tried the stew and a couple of apps and the food was excellent as well. We have been looking for an Irish pub, and are happy that this one is here!

Had a wonderful time. Great atmosphere, friendly people, and to top it all off, one of the best bartenders I've ever met. Props to Adam for keeping the profession alive, and always thinking of the customer. So, try it out. Sit at the bar, and ask the man to surprise you, because I guarantee he will.

Highly recommended! My wife and I ate in their outdoor area. I got a BBQ burger with Smithwick's Red Ale and my wife got a chicken sandwich with a blue eyes martini. The burger was absolutely delicious and the beer was cold and great too! My wife said her chicken sandwich was oustanding and the martini was amazing. Everything was perfect!

Great personal experience! Love it as it was a great relaxing time. Will be returning.

Brendan Laughrey provided last nights entertainment. He was great. We had so much fun singing and dancing to the Irish music. The Pub is great. Great service, great employees and owner. Food was good and everyone seemed to be having a great time. I can't wait to go back!

Came here for an early St. Paddy's Day celebration and had a great time. They were very busy but service was still prompt. We started with the Guinness wings, then husband had the Guinness Beef Stew in a bread bowl and I had the pub burger. Everything was delicious! I also highly recommend the Irish Old Fashioned, which is a great twist on an old favorite. We'll definitely be back!
