This shop is so honest and doesn’t belittle a lady with not so much knowledge of vehicles. Such great quality work and the staff are very friendly! I’d recommend anyone to bring their vehicles to Grays service as it’s the best around town by far!

I've been going to Gray's for years and NEVER have I had any issues. I've read some of the not so happy reviews and it makes me think you just can't please everyone, so i decided i will tell you about my wonderful experiences every time i go there. Gray's does not have backyard mechanics like I read in another post, all the guys actually know what they are doing unlike some other places I have gone to and been lied to just because I am a girl. They are honest and get my car in and out in a reasonable amount of time. They are all so friendly and helpful I would recommend that EVERYONE goes there, and doesn't believe the bad reviews on here. Like I said in the beginning some people can't be pleased and some people exaggerate.

I got brakes repaired. In and out the same day. I was very pleased. Now about 2 weeks later I am hearing metal on metal sound when braking and I can't get through to them until Monday.... ugh!!! Immediate response to my complaint

Gray's has been the place I take all three of our vehicles for all routine maintenance and larger repairs. They have always treated me well, with timely and quality service, patient reception and technicians, careful and thorough explanations for all the work they do, and fair prices.

Recently, my Honda Civic had an electrical issue. Gray's determined it was a dead battery and replaced my battery without an appointment less than 30 minutes before closing. A similar issue returned a week later, and I took my vehicle back to be diagnosed. They worked hard on my vehicle, running diagnostics and attempting to duplicate the issue. The owner even volunteered to take my car home, in an effort to duplicate the number of miles I had driven when the electrical issue arose. They kept my vehicle for five days trying to recreate the circumstances of my electrical issue, but were unable to. I don't fault them for this, because the Honda dealer I took my vehicle too after this also couldn't figure it out, but treated me much worse.

When I came to pick up my Civic, they expressed concern about me taking my vehicle out of town, worried that I could end up stranded if it didn't start again, and offered to send a technician out to me should it happen again if I was in town. They didn't charge me at all for the work, explaining that they couldn't charge me for diagnosis if they were unable to diagnose the issue.

Time and again, Gray's impresses me with their customer service and commitment. I highly recommend their business to anyone.

Wonderful Service I received there when I came from out of State to have a Toyota Tundra inspected for a potential purchase from Rapids Ford and Lincoln just down the street. Even though I was late for my scheduled time, they squeezed me in quick and easy. You guys Saved me the bother of buying a Lemon! I would bring my vehicles there if I lived nearby, great people! Truly saved me by giving me the point blank truth about the Truck, if I ever make it back out there I'll have to come by and give you my business again!

I had a nail in my tire on a Saturday, Scott got me in in 30 minutes. I can see why this business has a 5 rating. They got my car done in 30 minutes, were very easy to work with and did an excellent job for a reasonable price. I would highly recommend them to my family and friends.

Came up for the weekend to the cabin for 4th of July and our check engine light came on. We came to just get it diagnosed and we ended up getting it fixed same day because of the severity. Service was wonderful and quick and were able to get back to our cabin by lunch win...win!! Definitely recommended!.

Slid into a curb and steering was all loose and off, they got me in 1 day when the ford dealer had 3 week wait and identified the bent lower control arm and had it fixed same day. Labor seemed a bit pricey but was worth it.

Had a bunch of stuff taken care of here for one of my cars, needed a new transfer case, passenger axle, and some of my own parts put on it, steering alignment. I spent about a week myself dealing with this nightmare job in a frozen garage with no heat, and ran into countless problems, had to saw and grind so many bolts off because everything was rusted and fused together on the passenger side. It got to the point where my newly pressed in hub/bearings would not slide on the CV Axle spindle, so I spent another 2 days renting various tools to try to pop the axle out so I could replace it. Eventually I gave up, had it towed, and Gray's Diagnosed the transfer case was seized, and because of that, it wouldn't let the axle go. They found a newer transfer case quickly, replaced that and got everything else taken care of quickly. I think they had to find a few replacement bolts/nuts for some things, and pressed in my driver side bearing I brought in after getting the old stuff out.

The car seems to be running alright, but the new struts sound very loud, thinking they might just be extremely stiff out of factory even though I bought higher end ones. A hood bug deflector I had on the car was missing when I got it back, I was contacted by the shop and sent pictures of the car after the tow company came back and moved it into the shop, showing the deflector was missing. After talking to her on the phone, I'm thinking it might have snapped off when it was being towed to the shop, as the car was facing behind the tow truck and the wind would have caught the deflector from behind, not from the front where it would have been very aerodynamic.

I have owned more cars than I can possibly count. Accordingly, I consider myself a good diagnostician. Took my work van to Gray's and told them It needed a starter which would cost me $300. It turned out that I needed a battery, $100. They could easily have put in a starter and probably sold me a battery too, but they are HONEST. And by the way, the Interstate battery I bought elsewhere is crap.

Scott Gray's shop is a great place to take your vehicle. I own a 1998 olds Bravada and Scott is honest to the point of pain...his prices are fair and the mechanics are very friendly. Scott only uses top quality parts. I've never had to return for the same repairs.

I had the pleasure of doing business with this company today. We won a free oil change. The lady at the counter was so polite and knowledgeable! Made me very comfortable to be there. Thank you for taking good care of us. We will be back!!

Have had help from them a number of times. They let me order body parts and held a bumper for me. They are very flexible as well as skilled and are my go-to place for most auto work.
