My go-to trail for a bike ride. Paved trail with recently added signs posting a speed limit of 15 mph. there are also two spots along the way where you can pump the tires or stop for an emergency maintenance. The trail is very picturesque year round, from early spring to the late fall with ever-changing foliage, and occasional wild life( deers, squirrels, chipmunks) crossing the trail. I rarely use the trail in the winter, but I'm sure it is a great one for the cross-country skiing.

Beautiful and well kept grounds! Markings were good in some areas but not very clear where to go in others. Very enjoyable run on pavement through the beautiful woods!!

Went for a bike ride on the trail from here to Westchester and it kept going. I saw a family of deer crossing the path just before Lagrange 😁 nature had been calling for a long time and I finally got out there. This is a good place to start for anyone considering a walk, run or bike ride. Plenty of people on the path but not contested. I’ll be back!

This is a great place to walk, run, or bike. Our whole family uses the path often. It is beautiful and peaceful in every season and makes you feel like you are far away from a city. We have seen deer, blue jays, woodpeckers, tadpoles and many more animals. It has been great to expose my toddlers to the bauty of nature.

Awesome trail! About 3.3mi one-way to Brezina Woods with couple pedestrian road-crossings. Family friendly and about 50% shady, good for summer and evenings. Also good for deer sightings especially for kids (go when weather is cooler with less heat).

I remember going to these woods, when I was in Highschool back in the mid to late 90s. Every Fri/Sat night, there would be keg parties. And I remember there was so many different trails. But it looks so different, now days, I think because of all the rain and lightning, but there are cracked trees, and broken down trees all over the woods now. So there are not as many trails, from when we would go and hang around there. It even looks different, from after I got outta the Army, back in 02, because I would take my mastiff there, and walk around all these different trails, and I would play around with my dog, I would let him,run ahead, then I would hide. I would sit there watching him look all over the place, looking for me. Then I would call his name, from a different location, and he would take off looking for me. But now I take my German Sheppard and theres really only afew trails. And the biggest trail is the one that runs along the river, all the way in the back. Then you have that beam, that people would walk on,that goes like halfway across the river. You would see taggings across the river,on that cement slant. I also remember that there was a blue or yellow digger machine, that sat there for years, and it never moved. But that thing had like 5+ years of tagging all over it. But on the side that I was org talking about, was another place were we would chill and get drunk, but that was always just a place were a small group of friends would hang out. But you can see, that the HS kids, dont go there like we use to, because its always clean. You might see 1 beer can here in there, but nothing like it was in the 90s. But its not a bad place for just walking your dog. Sorry I wrote a book, but when I go there,it just brings me back to the good old days.

Great place to walk around and it's not usually super crowded. Great for little kids that need to get some energy out! Paths were not totally clear so a little icy today, but as long as your prepared for that, it's no big deal. Plus snow will be gone shortly anyway! Or at least I can dream it will be!

I come here often to bike the Salt Creek Trail. The park is very pretty and you often see some deer hanging out. Is rather small, but if you follow the trail, it'll take you from park to park. It's an awesome ride, probably as pretty a run.
