The store is very clean, well organized, a lot of variety in women's and children's clothing, but in children's shoes, almost empty shelves and no variety of sizes. I found clothes at a good price and very good discounts, the service as always fast and friendly. Mask required to enter.

I have always liked Jcpenny. My first memory of that store is when I was 9 and we went to their parking lot to see the fourth of July fireworks. Then every time we went there I would ask if there will be fireworks. But the shopping there was always fun.

We recently got our family pictures done here. The photographer was great and everything moved fast

I took my boyfriend and his brother for a photoshoot at this location. It was great! Ashlee was fantastic. She helped us picking poses and trying to make us laugh and feel comfortable. This photoshoot was for their father for father's day. Thank you Ashlee! The pictures came out beautiful and we are still laughing every time we look at these pictures.

One of the associates named Joann was friendly and helpful! 😄 Immediately greeted me with a smile and took some time to show me where returns were. She reassured me lots of people miss the return sign so I wouldn't feel embarrassed about missing it when entering the store. 😅 Cashier who worked at returns also greeted me with a smile and the service was fast! 🤩 Overall a nice experience 😊

my wedding band is rose gold over silver - on the back of it - the rose gold came off. I took it to the Vernon Hills Jcp they sent it in to the care plan I bought with it.After a month they said they couldn’t do anything about it - that I would have to do a buy out or I think they said exchange it. I ended up at the Algonquin JCPenney‘s and the lady was so nice and I found out - because I have the care plan on it. I can have it re-dipped instead of getting a new ring so I won’t lose my protection plan I paid for either. Vernon Hills is unknowledgeable and the Algonquin store went as far as calling the protection plan and found out they can do the dip or exchange it or they could return it, so I give JC Pennys in Algonquin five stars

I wanted to buy a men's swimsuit and there was no place to try it on all men's fitting rooms were closed off only 2 women's were open and they would not let me in. I left and didn't buy. I will spend my money elsewhere

First, I went shopping in Sephora. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful, walking around and making sure to ask anyone if they had any questions. They made it really simple for me to be in and out in a timely manner with the items I wanted. Then, I went and looked at jewelry next door to Sephora and Patricia was super friendly and helpful. We chatted for a while as I was looking at items. It was a great experience and I’ll be back again!!

This store offers a lot of clothing, however some of the shelves in housewares are looking sparse. You may want to shop early for the upcoming holidays.

I went to this JCPENNEY store in Algonquin to pick up an online order. This store had a lot of nice inventory and sales. The sales and check-out associates were very helpful. The store was neat. One still has to wear a mask while shopping. The fitting rooms were not open but the associate said you could return the items if you need to. Worth shopping at.
