Our heat broke, and we called Algonquin heating and cooling, the service tech Sam was very polite and knowledgeable and fixed the furnace in minutes. I definitely recommend them!! Please keep up the great work.

I had Sam out on a Saturday to do troubleshooting. He went above and beyond. Problem solved and Rose discounted me $10. I'm completely satisfied with the service. 5 star service.

Adam came out to provide a cleaning and diagnostic service on our AC unit. He was absolutely excellent- walked us through each step of what he was checking, shared tips and recommendations for running our system, and gave us straightforward feedback. His attention to detail and honesty was appreciated. We will definitely have him back to service our furnace and AC in the future!

This is Will Pfister writing this review. Algonquin Heating & Cooling installed are new Lennox furnace and AC unit in our historic home in the old town section of downtown Algonquin. Built in 1862. The furnace has been in since 98' and AC unit was installed in Y2K. They also ran duct work for our family room taking it from 3 season to 4 season access.

Great service, very knowledgeable staff and technicians. Minor capacitor issues over the years, but overall fantastic performance for both Lennox units. We highly recommend this business for your HVAC needs.

Woke up this morning to a cold 67 degree home.
Called Algonquin heating and cooling about 8:30, told the receptionist of my problem and she said a tech would be there within the hour. I was a little skeptical at first but sure enough within the hour Adam showed up. His professionalism and knowledge about my issue was very impressive. Within the next hour heat was working again and he gave me several recommendations on things we needed to address.
We will definitely be calling them in the future. Great company ask for Adam he did an excellent job.

I have used this company for several years. They are always punctual and professional. Brian was our technician to service our furnace today. He checked our humidifier and noticed that it needed to be cleaned and serviced as well. I’m always sent a reminder card along with a coupon when its time to service which I love. I highly recommend Algonquin Heating and Cooling.

We recently contacted Algonquin Heating because our air conditioning wasn't cooling properly. Brian came out and checked the AC unit and gave us different options to repair or replace it. He didn't pressure us into any decision but we decided that since our unit was quite old we would get it replaced. They came out the next day and installed the new unit and it's working great. They were very professional and took the time to answer my questions. We are very satisfied with their service!

Great company, highly recommended. Called for an issue with my heater and they came out same day. Replacement was done quickly after. I appreciate the attention to detail. In addition to installing the new unit Brian cleaned up a lot done wrong by the previous owner. Unit looks great and is functioning even better!

We have been using Algonquin Heating and Air Conditioning for many years. Brian has been our technician and he is AWESOME!! So trustworthy and extremely knowledgeable. He's always honest with us and for that reason, we wouldn't even think of going anywhere else. Our furnace was 27 years old when we had it replaced. It was still working but felt it was time to get a new one right before the winter. I honestly believe it lasted that long because of how well Brian serviced it. Our air conditioner is 28 years old and still going strong! :-)

Recently our AC died (after 30 plus years) and they respond immediately and replaced the unit the next day. Service was timely and professional. The techs were friendly and safe. This was my first time calling this business for routine furnace and AC maintenance, and I would recommend them to anyone. They were at my house less than 24 hours after I called to make an appointment. The technician was very friendly and professional, and he did thorough work on both systems. He was able to quickly fix a water flow problem for my furnace humidifier, and he also added some freon for the AC unit. I will be calling this business again next year when it's time for the annual maintenance.

Our furnace was over 30 years old (we've only been in this house for almost 4) and there was something that caught fire inside of it over night. We called in the morning and Adam came out the same day, we put a deposit down on a replacement, and the new furnace was installed the next day.

I've had the pleasure of working with Adam, Nick, and Sam. All three came over and installed the new furnace in one day. Further, Adam was able to fix our humidifier (that never worked since we've lived here) and install an air purifier all in the same day. Further, even though this was an emergency call there was no upcharges

Rose, the office manager, called today to check on us and make sure everything was ok. She even got me a quote for a damper that we will need for when it's AC season within 15 minutes.

I know they are very busy, during peak times, but when we needed them, they made us feel like their only customer. They were friendly, informative, and professional.

Will always recommend and can't imagine going with another company as long as we live in the area.

Their service rep never pushes for unnecessary work to be done as experienced in the past with other similar companies. I’m new to the area and needed a humidifier for our furnace. Brian came out to our home and was very informative in describing the product and how it would be installed. Brian was very professional as a sales representative to the point where we requested if he could do the installation which he did. He did a very prompt and neat job.
