Would love to see some unwashed (natural) options though.

This cafe is an oasis next to the Belmont Red Line. It’s a comfortable, quiet place to sit to read, or work. I ordered a latte and it was excellent. The decor is comfortable, modern, but not pretentious. There’s plenty of seating. Customer service is very friendly.

Good food and drinks. I highly recommend the sourdough cinnamon roll whenever it is available. Coffee lemonade here are both absolutely amazing

I recently visited this coffee shop and fell in love with it right away. I ordered a pour over and the staff were super friendly and helpful when making the coffee. The pour over itself was super flavorful and was just what I needed.

The atmosphere is great for reading, working, or even catching up with friends over coffee. There is plenty of seating, so you’ll definitely be able to find a spot to gather while enjoying a great cup of coffee.

I would highly recommend this spot and I look forward to going back soon.

What a surprise! From outside it almost look like a window plain drip coffee type of place.

Then the pleasant surprise happens:
Excellent specialty coffee, great barista, better service, lots of room, clean, good music, great option for fresh, recently roasted coffee beans.

Highly Recommend: this place was great, while right by train track the place has really nice atmosphere and the coffee and their cookies were great - had Charlatte this time. Would definitely come back here.

Honestly I've been meaning to try this place for a long time, but have never had the time, or was in the area after closing. Today was the day I decided to pop in and try them out.
I got the iced coffee with cream and rose cardamom syrup and was not disappointed. I haven't had a good a good cup of coffee like this in awhile.

Pedestrian is a lovely shop. Bright, snazzy, and excellent quality.
During last summer’s heat wave, I came in for an iced tea on a 100+ degree day. To my surprise, I discovered I had forgotten my wallet. I was cancelling my order and the man behind the counter gave me the drink for free. I was immensely grateful because it was ambrosia on that oven-like day. The gesture was a kiss of kindness in a sea of indifference.

One of my favorite coffee spots in Chicago.. and chicago has a lot.

For coffee aficionado’s: They do measure their shots by weight and time. Even Vanilla Milk stretched to perfection with customary latte art.

For all coffee soon be to aficionado’s: They hopefully will be starting latte making classes soon. Keep asking them.

I work remotely from cafes every day. Having moved from Chicago to two different states, Pedestrian Cafe remains the best in my memory. The atmosphere and vibe were fantastic. I hope to visit again soon!

I love this place! I must have been here 100 times in the last year. The coffee is extremely consistent no matter who makes it, and it's the best I've had in Chicago. Their wifi can be spotty at times, but the coffee is worth working through it. Everyone who works here is so nice and easy to talk to. Their baked goods are delicious as well :-)

Secret Gem of Wriley’s WFH community. Perfect for remote workers as there are community tables with tons of outlets, making it a great space to work remote from. Employees, good, and coffee are great too!

I loved the energy of this coffee spot! The space was great, lots of seating. It was pretty busy but I managed to find a seat. The service was very friendly and incredibly quick. I got an iced lavender mocha and it was delicious.

Perfect place to get work done. Coffee and tea are awesome - I usually get a pourover which is done well. Staff is friendly and timely. Never have to wait more than 10 min for a drink, even a pourover. There's a ton of seating and outlets. Quickly becoming my go to place for heavy work sessions.

The staff is really nice. They have plenty of options to satisfy plenty of different tastes. The cafe is also cozy, with a great atmosphere with plenty of seating. I recommend their pumpkin patch during the fall.

I stopped by this place on my way home and decided to do some work while i was in the area! I ordered the rose latte along with their sour dough cinnamon roll! Both were extremely good and i would definitely come back!

Haven’t actually tried the food yet. Decent coffee, some good single origin beans, and their signature blend is surprisingly good. Pour-over is tasty, but a bit pricey, like all drinks here. Nice merchandise. Chill spot. Walk-up window from outside is a nice touch if youre out there waiting, on the go. They carry mostly light & medium coffees, I was told, which I like… as both a taste profile & caffeine jolt.

Really comfortable coffee shop with friendly staffs, I only had a cash with me and couldn’t pay but the staff gave me the drink on the house thank you so much and the matcha was really good subtly sweet and rich matcha flavor just how I like it 🫶🏻

came in here the other day before therapy expecting a plain iced coffee, but was pleasantly surprised by the menu options, bakery items, and fantastic service! the staff member who helped me even added a student discount without me even asking, which was amazing especially because i only work part time and love saving a dollar or two. will definitely be coming back to enjoy more pedestrian coffee and hanging out in the lovely work space!!
