LaSalle County Court House

The architecture and history here is palpable. I'm very impressed with the preservation of such a historic county courthouse. The Joliet limestone facade is wonderful.

I'm sad my country of Will demolished it's own beautiful limestone court house but am glad that Ottawa has kept theirs. Lovely.

You don't want to be here unless you're getting married. 5 stars but would not recommend

During normal courtroom hours cell phones are not permitted unless you are a licensed attorney therefore leave them in your car. Have your belt off and all jewelry including but not limited to silver, gold, Steel, copper and tungsten

Alot of missing info in cases or wrongful info towards individuals

Everyone there is rude you can be there for Jury Duty and they talk to you like your a criminal. The states broke so they gotta take as much of our money and time as possible. It's just funny they think I'm such a criminal but still want my input as a Jury. Can't have a foid card but I decide on people's lives I guess lol. Should be a federal lawsuit for how corrupt Lasalle County is honestly.

Room 201 at the LaSalle County Circuit Clerk is an absolute nightmare. The women who work there are rude, on the phone and in person. They are also gate keepers, denying passport applications because they think their judgment is better than yours (ex. denying your picture and ID despite the fact that they meet the requirements laid out by the State Department). Gate keepers that literally don't know the requirements of the job are simply incompetent. We went to Streator USPS, where the staff is more polite and more competent. Worth the drive not to waste time at the Ottawa Circuit Clerk.
