Kids Ground (Cooper Park)

Nice big park. The toddler section is fenced off which is nice. Lots of things for older kids to climb on. Even a zip line, as well as a fair number of swings. There are bathrooms in sight as well.

Fantastic upgrade from the old one! My 9 year old son gives it his stamp of approval! I can tell alot of time and planning went into this rebuild and I think the committee and Community volunteers nailed it. Can't wait to enjoy it with my son and my grandson for many years to come!

awesome kid friendly park! its huge!!! kids loved it. in the city, but plenty of parking even for our RV. very clean and well maintained. broken down into age groups so little kids can enjoy the park seperately from bigger kids if they choose. Definately recommend for a stop. Did notice no people were wearing masks if that bothers you...

Went to visit based on the pics seen here and we were not dissapointed. Swings, slides, musical instruments to play, & accessible covered walkways to run/play on. We had a blast!

The new and improved Kids Ground park at Coopers Park is amazing. There are loads of fun things to explore and experience. Hours of fun are to be had here. The zipline was a smash hit with my crowd, along with the curly tube slide in the picture. Spinners, instruments, and slides galore.

So awesome for kids, it’s like a castle of interconnected play places. Tons of climbing. Swings, zip line, bathrooms. There’s also a section meant for smaller kids and toddlers

When city planners and landscape architects design and place city parks, they need to look here. This park has just about everything a kid could want. A playground for the 2 to 5 year old crowd, a playground for older kids, percussion instruments, a zip line, covered seating areas for parents, bathrooms, the list goes on.

The City of Rochelle really did and does a top notch job with this one. Do not miss this one!

This is the BEST park in Rochelle. Sooo many fun things to do, my girls and I love playing here. They also have a shelter you can reserve for parties!

We stop here on our road trip from Wisconsin to Indy and back. It's almost halfway and a great place to let the kids stretch their legs. Very nice and newly redone.

Had my grandsons Birthday there. Very nice clean park and picnic areas! Nice playground for the kids!

My little guy loves this place every time we go. It's always clean and lots of stuff for kids of all ages to have fun on. Highly suggest taking kids here (Rockford native and I prefer this park over theirs)

Incredible park. The best okay structures in the local area. My toddler and preschooler request Cooper Park by name constantly. I love the separate toddler area, the slides, the cleanliness, the shelters and benches. It also had ample parking. Excellent park in every way.

This place is incredible! I don't know who made it happen. Don't know who built it. Don't really know anything about it. But I know it's the best park I've been to in Northern Illinois. So many cool features and subtle obstacles. Good mix of climbing and fitness type stuff and just good general fun places to play and hide. Great swings and zipline for just about everybody. Good location. Makes me wish I lived nearby!

I would just strongly suggest that you put a porta potty near the 4th pavilion.!!!! We had ppl at our get together that could not walk that far to use the restrooms. I'm sure other ppl have run Into that issue as well!!!😊

One of the best parks ever!! I played here as a kid and they updated it all but kept the same style. Now my kids can play here safely too and have so much fun

We love parks, and this is a great one! The zip line is awesome! Fun for all of our kids ages 4-10! Unique types of swings, making it (almost) all inclusive. There are cool musical instruments for kids to bang on. The teeter totter was well balanced (?) and maybe had a middle spring/coil keeping you from falling and banging your bottom on the ground when using it. LOL Oh, and there are bathrooms! Yay! My only negative is there are lots of places for little ones to disappear around a corner and then you lose track of them... So depending on the kid, maybe this is an issue. We did okay with 2 adults supervising (the 4 year old can be a runner).

It's been GREAT! Everyone is assisting where ever needed and the high schoolers have been a wonderful group....working hard....learning how to handle wheel barrels filled with concrete and mulch.

Another day tomorrow and there is always room for more volunteers!! Come for an hour or more an enjoy helping to complete this project completed on time.
