Camino Viejo

We have been Camino Viejo many times. Best ground beef and shrimp tacos in Frankfort, hands down. We’ve had other dishes too. All really fresh, really good but I keep coming back for the tacos. Super clean, good service. Love that they have outdoor seating. When we’re short on time we do takeout from them and the food travels well/does not suffer. I highly recommend this place!

The food here is incredible. I had the Tampiquena (the skirt steak was perfectly tender and not fatty at all. The Jalapeno was nice and spicy, The cheese enchilada with it was very good and it came with tortilla too), a margarita, and a cheesecake chimichanga. One of the best meals I have had in awhile. The Food came out incredibly quick and was perfect. My only criticism is our server was nowhere to be seen after the dinner arrived so it was hard to order dessert or get the check. Still worth the wait!

Their salsa is incredibly delicious. The restaurant is super clean including the bathroom. We enjoyed the tacos, steak, shrimp and El Pasor were all very good. We will definitely be back!

Came in w my fiancé around 6:30 pm, place was packed. Was seated right away great staff, ordered drinks and our food and was out promptly and so delicious. Thank you! You have a repeat customer. Lionsden1211

Not sure why I never tried this place before, and now I’m kicking myself for waiting so long. Everyone there is so nice and the food is delicious. Most important tip - GET THE FLAN. I don’t usually get excited about flan, but their family recipe is absolute perfection. I’m sorry I didn’t get a picture of it - but here are the yummy steak tacos I had:

My husband and I went there today for lunch and it was GREAT!! I had a beef taco dinner and my husband had a two mixed meat (don't remember what kind) Burrito but he loved it. Also we had a steak burrito to go!!
Differently will be returning!!

This was my first time at Camino Viejo and I’m super glad I checked it out. They have great steak tacos!! The chips were brought out nice and warm and the salsa was very good!! I will definitely be coming back. (For two people it was about $30 for 5 steak tacos and a shrimp burrito)

Steak tacos are the best I have ever had. Rice and beans were excellent.

Tacos were delicious. We had fish, steak, chicken and pork, all really good. Great service too.

My family and l live not even five minutes away and have gone to other Mexican restaurants nearby for the several years we've lived in area....regretfully so.... Camino Viejo is outstanding! The food is fantastic, the drinks are fun, and the staff makes you feel like family.... especially Nadia!!! Wow what a great server with amazing charisma, personality, and stories to share.... really made our dinner out a memorable one! This was our first time here and is now our future go to place! Thanks!!!!

Great Mexican food! We tried all of the tacos and enjoyed every bite. Best elotes we’ve ever had and the margaritas are tasty and strong. Really enjoyed our experience here, great food, drinks and service.

Definitely one of the best Mexican food places in the area! The tacos are delicious but they only give you one green sauce. I should have asked for more because that was one of the best sauces I’ve ever had at any Mexican food restaurant. Highly recommend.

Steak tacos were very good. Had taco lunch special and a beer. UPDATE. Brought the kids for dinner and they loved the steak tacos. I had the tampiquena and the steak was excellent margaritas were very good. It was busy tonight but food came quickly and still had great service. Still 5 stars ⭐
