I am a nurse and have worked in the O.R for nearly 20 years. Being on the other side of your profession as a patient is definitely something that is intimidating and, in my case, was unplanned. After a skiing accident I tore my ACL and was headed for surgery with Dr Benji Miller. It is an overwhelming experience altogether. My surgeon wanted me to have additional modes of therapy to aid in the ease of my recovery. Kinex Medical company in Chattanooga TN reached out to me to setup a time prior to surgery for me to come in and pick up my equipment. Upon arriving to Kinex Medical I was greeted by staff and quickly moved to a private room where I would spend some time with the rep, Justin McKinney, where we would discuss everything about the equipment that I would be using for recovery. As a medical professional myself, I take pride in making people feel comfortable and make sure I've done my duty to educate the patient as best as I possibly can, even if that means taking extra time. Justin could not have done his job any more perfect than he did. From his demonstration to his explanations and organization I could not have handpicked a more impeccable experience than I had. Although the medical knowledge and experience that I have may seem to have been more beneficial to understand this equipment I was still a bit overwhelmed. I am thankful for the thorough explanation and the time that was spent with me. I had no questions about how I may contact anyone with questions when I got home because Justin made sure I understood everything before I even left the building. He has done a wonderful job making you tube videos of demonstrations on proper ways to use equipment and apply braces. The you tube videos are definitely a gamechanger especially when people have to share that with those aiding in recovery. My overall experience with this company, the rep and my equipment have been outstanding. I highly recommend Kinex Medical. This cold therapy has been a lifesaver for me. I am heading into my third knee surgery and this is the first time I will be using any sort of recovery equipment. Kinex Medical reached out to me days before my surgery and set up an appointment at their Chattanooga office so that I could pick up the recovery equipment. The representative that I met with, Justin McKinney, showed me the equipment I would be using, how the machine works, and how to identify any problems that may arise. He included YouTube videos and other helpful advice on how to best position myself and the equipment during my recovery. He was the most knowledgeable, patient, and kind person I have encountered in a very long time. I feel secure and confident that I can use the equipment after meeting with him.

The Kinex rep. Justin did an extraordinary job introducing me to the CPM machine and cooling/ icing machine I used after my knee replacement. Both machines are game changers after knee replacement.

Hello! My name is LaDonna and I have been using the Kinex therapy device for only 5 days and I don't want to give it back!! I LOVE IT!! I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for relief from any surgery that requires cold, heat, DVT or a combination. It works!!

We found Kinex and, particularly Sergino Agnant, to be excellent. He spent time above and beyond what would be expected, troubleshooting our situation successfully. The medical device we received was delivered in person with an incredible fast turnaround. The device was brand new, and Gino unpacked it all, set it up, and methodically explained how to use it. He sized the device for me, ensured I was comfortable using the technological component, and placed the heavy device in our house. I cannot speak highly enough about this company and Gino. I am thoroughly impressed. And, more importantly, very thankful that I got someone who cared during this challenging medical journey.

After TKR then MUA weeks later due to stubborn scar tissue, my surgeon ordered a CPM machine. Dan P. was the rep who delivered, set up and walked me through the use of the machine. He was professional, friendly and very thorough. The CPM has been a tremendous asset in my TKR recovery!
I have been extremely happy with the outstanding customer service from Dan and the support staff at Kinex!

Prior to my shoulder surgery, Justin did my KINEX cold thermocomp training in his office. He did a fantastic job. He stepped me through the equipment in a very simple, easy to follow process. He actually showed me each step, from the very beginning, making it easy to follow and do when I got home. He made me feel very comfortable from start to finish. A real PRO….

Ms. Kelly was a great help checking with us multiple times to make sure we got what we needed. Even though insurance doesn't cover all the equipment it is well worth it. Tell your friends and loved ones. If they are having hip, knee, shoulder, or elbow surgery. The cooling and compression machine is a game changer. The one in my son's college training room is nicknamed "Game ready." I understand why now. Thank you Ms Kelly!

My name is Betty and I am a patient/customer/ client of Amy Nunley. Let me tell you all of our phone, text or personal conversations, in person visit , from the beginning to the end has been nothing less than the best that you could receive from her. She is so knowledgeable , professional, friendly, caring and has great customer service. She got me set up with the cpm machine met me at my physical therapy to show me, my husband and therapist the use and purpose of the machine which of course my therapist already has that knowledge but she has exceeded my expectations with extending herself for me to reach out to her at any time she was truly a blessing to me she would call and text me to check on my progress and to see if their was anything I needed or if she could help in any way . She is an asset to your company and needs to be acknowledged for the employee and person she is for your company . The cpm machine I felt like helped me with maintaining and stretching the bend and straight since this made the 4th procedure I’ve had with my knee replacement since Oct. 2022. I have an unusual case with my tendons they have shrunk so it makes it really hard for me to achieve the straight and bend degree that is needed for me to walk and function normal . The Kinex ice machine was so helpful with the swelling I used just wraps, and my cousin sent an old ice machine her husband had used for his knee surgery but you had to keep changing and replacing ice or frozen bags or bottles to keep it cold but this machine was so much more convenient and less work meaning you didn’t have to continue trying to keep replacing the ice to keep it cold. I highly recommend that all doctors prescribe this machine to all their patients for swelling and as needed the cpm machine . I have been very pleased with the Amy , this company and equipment .

The experience with Kinex in Chattanooga has been great! My son had shoulder surgery and we needed a Kinex ThermoComp to give him cold therapy for faster healing and to help with swelling. Justin demonstrated how to use the equipment to us and is extremely knowledgeable about the equipment. He was so kind and helpful!! We are now over 1 week post- op and the Kinex ThermoComp was a life saver! It removes all the hassles of dealing with ice packs. It's a wonderful machine! No worries with ice melting and having to change them out every 30 minutes. You turn on the machine and it does all the work. It even shuts off and turns on in 30 minutes intervals without you having to do a thing to it! So thankful for this device during a very stressful time!

Kinex rep Deidrea was so helpful and thorough upon equipment delivery. She set up the equipment as expected, but took the time to answer every question. She even anticipated things we hadn’t thought of.
Wish I could give her more than 5 stars.

I would highly recommend the Kinex Thermo Compression machine for PO therapy. I used this machine after my RSR SURGERY in August 2022 and again my RKR SURGERY in July 2023. Even though my insurance didn’t cover it, The price was very affordable and well worth every penny. Amy, my Reprensative, (who now is a certified Orthotic Fitter) was excellent! She went above and beyond her job. She came out set up the machine explaining in detail how to use. She quickly came out and replaced the first machine after it stopped working properly and she called to check on me several times. I can not say enough good things about my experience.

I recently had shoulder surgery to repair my rotator cuff. My surgeon, Dr. Chad Smalley, did an excellent job and I’m recovering quickly from it. I dislike taking narcotic pain medication and was able to stop taking it two days after my surgery. I know the main reason I could do this was because of the cold therapy equipment (Kinex ThermoComp Cryo-Therapy) that Dr. Smalley ordered for me through Kinex Medical. It’s an automatic ice pack for your shoulder and I can’t even imagine recovering from this surgery without it. It helped with the swelling and pain so I could sleep and recover quickly. I even slept with it on!

When I picked up the equipment I had an hour long training session with Justin, the Kinex Rep at the Chattanooga Office. He is awesome! Very personable and helpful and his tips and tricks helped me remember how to operate it. I highly recommend Kinex Medical and their equipment, and Dr. Smalley!!

Justin took the time to both demonstrate and discuss the equipment in detail. You will feel very confident on the use of
the cold therapy equipment after leaving their office.

The experience I had at first was painful,but now it's not so bad, I really enjoyed the Kinex arm chair very helpful and easy to maintain and have different kinds of level to rotation,it doesn't feel like My right shoulder arm cupp past twenty or thirty now,it still hurts and I feel at a level ten,but I am going to physical therapy now, I really appreciate my kinex Chair and the young lady who showed me how to change work different level WOW!! Deirdre’s Scruggs was very efficient and explained very well how to use the CPM device. We had an error notice on the pad of the CPM that was given us on the day of my husbands surgery that could not be solved and as soon as she saw the device she recognized the problem. She switched the device out for us anyway due to the other being so heavy. Thank you Deidrea!

This machine really helped me. It helped with sleep and when I was in pain. I would highly recommend after knee replacement.

Justin McKinney I would highly recommend him to everyone and was extremely patient with me and very informative. He had everything ready that Dr. Doty has asked for. I appreciate having a place to sit and go through what to expect. I also went back to return my equipment and he patiently took the the time to redo my arm sling.
