Johnson Water Conditioning

I can not say enough about how much better my water and my day to day life is because of Johnson Water's iron filter!!! I wish I had one installed years ago!! I can brush my teeth with sink water for the first time since I moved into my house (3 years); I haven't had to scrub my toilet bowl nor bath tub with harsh chemicals (or at all) since the iron filter was installed!!! I can not recommend Johnson Water Co enough! This has been life changing! Thank you Johnson Water!!!!!

Honest and knowledgeable. Advised beforehand what service call would cost. I have an older softener and fully expected to be told it needed to be replaced. All it really needed was to be reset. I was given hardness and capacity info so I can do it myself if it needs it again. GREAT experience with Jason and with the company!

A positive experience with Johnson Water Conditioning from start to finish! Jason was our service technician and is excellent, very knowledgeable and also pleasant. Replaced our timing mechanism on our older water softener and gave us quotes for a new model without a hard sell! That is almost unheard of in this day and age!So happy we called them. When we replace our unit which we will be doing in the near future, it will definitely be with Johnson Water! Keep up the honest and dependable work! A pleasure to work with this company!

We have been a customers of Johnson Water Conditioning for several years, due their reasonable prices and great service! We recently had our iron filter replaced, due to build up causing low water pressure. In addition, we had a reverse osmosis filter installed in our kitchen. Our installer, Matt M. was fantastic! He restored our water pressure in no time! Not only was he efficient in installing our new iron filter and reverse osmosis filter, but he took the time to explain the installation and functionality of each system. We strongly recommend Johnson Water Conditioner!!!

I called Johnson Water Conditioning after seeing their positive reviews a few days ago. I wasn't sure if the issue we were experiencing with our water softener was something I could fix on my own, or if I needed a professional. I am so glad I called. The people I worked with were fantastic, accommodating, and informative. Our technician was able to get creative in trouble shooting our machine, and spent time making sure it was working effectively. He also spent time helping me learn about my current unit and provided information for what to look for in the future. Overall, this was a fantastic service experience -- very much appreciated.

We just had our yearly service call from Johnson Water Conditioner. Technician Austin who supervised installation of our water softener back in 2017 came out to perform the service call. He is very knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of my questions regarding status of the unit and what maintenance he was performing that day. I highly recommend Johnson and their tech Austin!

Hands down the best company in the area! I went to Angel Water first, and my experience was horrible with them. Gary came to my house and put my family and me at ease. The cost was very honest, and they saved me thousands of dollars. Compared to what angel water quoted me. Every single employee i have dealt with from Johnson has provided me 5 star treatment. Sue is always very helpful when i talk to her as well. I now have them installing a reverse osmosis water system in my house too. I have multiple people in my company who use Johnson Water as well.

My family has owned our building since 1954. We have struggled with the well water quality for years. The last 8 years or so we used another water treatment company (who I will let remain nameless). The water was never right, smell, taste etc....... We had constant call backs with little to no success. Enter Johnson Water Conditioning!!!! The inspection was made and a sample of water taken. Two days later equipment arrived and Austin (Johnson installer) did a fantastic job. The building in currently a neighborhood Pub & Grill (PUCKS) near Lake Bluff and the water is the BEST it has ever been!! When using water to mix the soda, it has to be good and it is! You can now get an ice cold glass of water as good as any bottled water!! I cannot give high enough marks to Johnson & their installation staff!!!

Totally a great experience! While we were apprehensive about someone coming into our North Barrington house because of the coronavirus epidemic, our fears were quickly put to ease when our technician, Jason, arrived. He was properly attired and was careful about keeping a safe distance from us and not touching things that were not germane to the project. Jason was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and professional. The problem with our water softener was quickly diagnosed and fixed in less than 30 minutes. Going forward Jason and Johnson Water will be our go to resource for all our water softener and filtration needs. Thank you for the fine service!

Johnson Water is great and Jason provided excellent service when my 11 year old softener wasn't working as well as expected. They are very responsive and work with customers to provide the least expensive options if there are any issues. We had none for 11 years! It's a great product!

I just bought a house in Barrington. I needed to have the water tested and the water softener inspected and cleaned. Office was very friendly and scheduled a quick appointment. Jason just left my house and was very patient with all my questions as a new homeowner. He tested and cleaned everything and gave me some tips on keeping the water clean. In and out in about a half hour. Very happy. Thanks!

We have a well, and had a water softener, but continued to have problems with iron and iron bacteria in our water. Norm came out and explained our options. We found him knowledgeable and not at all pushy. We decided on a chlorination system, and scheduling was fast. Austin was the technician who installed our system, and he too was polite, knowledgeable and patient. I would not hesitate to recommend Johnson Water Conditioning to anyone needing help with their water.

I recently noticed that my water was harder than normal even after my 12 year old water softener regenerated. After checking reviews by customers I chose Johnson Water Conditioning/ McHenry to send a technician to evaluate and advise if replacement was necessary. Austin arrived on time and quickly identified the problem. The brine tank needed to be emptied and cleaned. He advised that a replacement was not necessary. The cleaning and manual regeneration restored softened water. A replacement system would have cost $1,000+. The cleaning cost $97.00. Thank you Johnson and Austin for excellent service and advice on how to better maintain the efficiency of my water softener. When I do need to replace or require service I will call Johnson/Mchenry. Thank you for quick, honest, and reasonably priced service.

Excellent service. Fox Lake water is ridiculously hard, and within weeks of moving into our new home, our lovely glass surround in the master bath was filthy with scaly, unsightly water staining (Easily wiped off using 'Get It On' cleaner through Amazon). I appreciate the fact that their "salespeople" are actually techs themselves, who really know what to look for in my plumbing setup and will put the unit in the best place possible, in my case, next to the other mechanicals. Installation happened in a matter of one day from the first visit, was very quick and professional, and most importantly, our water is now awesome. Very drinkable, showers are nice, no water deposits, and unlike some conditioners, we don't experience the slimy effect of soft water on the skin. An overall excellent experience.

I called Johnson to get good iron buster for my well water. Same day Gary came over , tested my water, and fund out what unit I need for my house. Gary was very professional, and quick - no bs salesman like talk , no gimmicks, and he worked out decent price for me as well. I had my iron buster installed four days later. The technician Nick called prior and showed up exactly on time. He did perfect quality job with installation, quick and very clean. He also went extra mile and squized into our crawl space to reconnect busted exhaust from water heater. Impressive, high quality service from both Johnson's employees . Two thumbs up for Nick and Gary.

After contacting Johnson Water Conditioning, Greg, the pleasant serviceman quickly diagnosed my water problems and set an appointment within the week to install a water softer in my home.

Austin, the installer called me in the morning of the set installation day to let me know of his arrival time. He promptly arrived and quickly set to work. He removed my old water softener unit and salt tank, installing new ones. When finished he cleaned up the area and removed any debris. He walked me through the operation of the unit and took the time to answer my questions.

I am very pleased with the results. What an incredible difference softened water has made in my home. I highly recommend this company and their friendly helpful staff.

Service on my Johnson Water softener was performed on 8/29/16. The technician (Tony) was very professional, knowledgeable and efficient. The problem was identified and resolved in less than 30 minutes. I highly recommend Johnson Water Conditioning service, parts and equipment.

Our water softener and RO system recently died. I called Johnson water conditioning and was very pleased to have their technician Austin come out to service the equipment. He found that our equipment was not in working order so we decided to put in a whole new system!! Our water was sooo bad and we wanted to get the new equipment asap. Austin came out on a Saturday(his day off) to install the new equipment so we would not have to wait!! He and Nick were exceptional and our new water is great!! Thanks for your quick service!

The technicians are very helpful and do great work. I had an entire softener system replaced. It works great. I highly recommend them. Austin and Nick arrived when they said and completed the work quickly. I would rate above 5 if I could.
