Great gym. Everyone there goes to workout and not socialize like some of the other gyms nearby. Extremely clean. Only negative is the Sauna, seems a bit small And outdated.

This is a true muscle heads gym. Been coming here on and off since 5-star fitness took over about decade ago. It is a gym filled with actual weightlifters that do not mind if you ask for tips/pointers if you need it. Thankfully there isn’t a lot of the “influencer” crowd so no need to worry about people taking too long at a station. I’ve tested going to other gyms but there’s no place like body tech.

Love this gym. it’s never crowded and the vibe is great. Everyone is very friendly and you can tell it’s a gym where experienced people go. it’s not your typical planet fitness where anyone and everyone goes to. Body tech is more higher up in expertise. it’s clean and all the machines are in great condition and it’s nice and big. lots of space.

The gym is of an older style but very well equipped and reasonably priced. I travel for work and do bodybuilding as a hobby. The range of equipment is good. I only with they had more mid grip bars and better rope cable attachments.

The staff is great here! People complain about the equipment but it’s old school. You won’t find these machines at other gyms. They also have a new updated area as well which is nice. I love this gym just sometimes there are groups that command the whole space and it’s like they own the place. Get here early to avoid the doosh bags and it’s easily the best gym in the area. The atmosphere is amazing!

I’ve been a member on and off over ten years. It’s a real gym for real gym people. People say equipment is “dated”. I say the equipment is effective. They also have made plenty of upgrades with keeping important equipment available. Relatively new paint and as clean/dirty as a gym gets. If you want a workout I suggest BODY TECH.

I have not gone to a gym for a few years now after having a bad experience with another one I had went to. I was referred by a friend to Five Star Fitness and I am so glad that I went. Just walking in, there is a welcome feel that I have not experienced anywhere else. Everyone from the employees to the other people working out were polite and were very nice. I was given a personal tour of the gym and shown where everything is and was advised that they were more than happy to help if you were not sure how to use a machine. I was a little overwhelmed with how many different workout options there are, but this is something that I think will be great as there is always a different workout you can do without getting bored. I really love the fact that they have an indoor track as well so I can exercise without having to use a machine if I want.I have a small child so the fact that they have daycare available makes it so much easier for me to be able to workout, the fact that they have windows so I can always peak in on her is also very reassuring. I really love the fact that there is so much included in the monthly fee, classes, daycare and all of the equipment. I am now excited to go to the gym and am going to be telling all of my friends about it as well.

This is one of the best gyms in the area, does not have the standard commercial gym feel to it at all!
Very old school feel, which is very rare nowadays. What I love most is that it has something for everyone.
Several NPC and IFBB pro bodybuilders are here, as well as people who are fairly new to working out. The bodybuilders here don't have an ego like most gyms. If anything they would try to give you some tips on how to get the most out of the exercise you're doing, rather than judge you.
The staff is extremely friendly as well!

I’ve been a member at Body Tech for many years. I started working out at the Mokena location but have also worked out at the Joliet location. They have a variety of exercise equipment and I enjoy walking their track. I also like the tanning services they have available and their smoothie bar. They have so many different flavors to try! I would highly recommend Body Tech to anyone who is looking for a gym that offers challenging group fitness classes and allows you to work out on your own too.

No contract and cheap rates. Its a pretty big place and they have any kind of equipment you need, old and new. Also, the staff was very helpful and friendly. Overall one of the best gyms I've been to.

I was a member of this gym when it was Five Star. I was a member of Bodytech Mokena for a decade. So when I learned they purchased the gym I was currently a member at, I was thrilled. The equipment have been updated as needed as well as more operational than with previous ownership. I strongly recommend everyone to try the Smoothie Bar at least once, you won’t be disappointed.

The gym is a amazing. It has great equipment and machines and there is never a line or overcrowded area. It is also a gym for anyone, body builder or regular fitness addict.

I like that I feel comfortable doing Olympic lifts here. Most gyms I’ve been too have only a couple racks I like that there are multiple free weights and I’m able to do a whole WOD is I want.

I've been going to this gym for years and love it. Lots of weights, machines, cardio equipment, classes, indoor track, and basketball court. It's definitely the best local gym.

This place has literally been "Five Star Fitness" for my wife and I. I love the atmosphere, the people, the facility, and everything else, and my wife really enjoys the classes (zumba, booty bootcamp, etc.). We're only leaving because we're moving out of state. I really hope we can find a place like Five Star where we're going.

Great gym for people who like to lift weights. Not a planet fitness type place with nothing but treadmills although they have plenty of those as well.

You gotta come here to talk to Brendan Whitmore Bryant. That guy is a Bradley University legend and will probably get you 6 months free, no questions asked, as long as you pose for a SnapChat picture with him (deal may not actually exist). This gym is great for GDIs and frat guys; all are welcomed! Hey man, if you don't like it, just go to JCA, Average Joe's, and Planet Fitness before crawling back to the Globo Gym that is Five-Star Fitness. Cool story bro.
