Terrific food and experience. Came with a large group for a business dinner. The table ordered several appetizers, which were all great: cheese curds, brussel sprouts, chicken wings, etc.

I had the onion soup and the Shrimp and Grits. Lots of flavor. The staff was attentive and great at refills for water and drinks. Highly recommended.

They do have more cost conscious options as well including various burgers, sandwiches, and salads. We came at night so it was hard to see outside. Likely an amazing view during the day or when the nights get longer.

Oh my goodness! What a hidden gem this restaurant is!! Ate here for lunch on Christmas Eve. Food was delicious and service was fantastic. I was excited to see items on the menu from Slagel Family Farm (see my review from our visit there). I ordered from the pick two menu. I had the Cobb Salad and Cream of Chicken Soup. The soup was hearty and the salad was overflowing in its serving bowl. My husband had a steak sandwich and said the steak was cooked just perfect. We both had to ask for a box to take home our leftovers. We had a spectacular view of the golf course from our table. I imagine it is even more beautiful in the spring and summer when everything is green! We will definitely be back to try more from the menu!!

To start, the atmosphere is beautiful and inviting. The food was AMAZING. Everything we had was great, some of the best food I have had out in awhile. Friendly hostess, nice waiter, fast service, good drinks. 10/10

It's not like I hang out at a lot of taverns, but this is my favorite one! I've been coming here at least five years for the holidays. The only thing I missed was that the Christmas tree wasn't up yet. The menu has something for everyone. The drinks are well paired with the dishes. The wait staff is always friendly and accommodating. I'll more than likely be back next year or sooner!

Very cozy little restaurant for dinner. Nice atmosphere. Food and service were superb. I had the lobster jambalaya and my wife had the steak filet. I got a taste of hers, as well. Both were delicious! The crab cake appetizer was good, as well. Nice size crab cake.

Tip: My wife enjoyed the side of tavern style potatoes with her meal, but know that they have TONS of garlic on them. They are very tasty, but FYI on the loads of garlic with them.

For dessert we shared the Momo’s Eclair Cake. It was out of this world! One of the best desserts I’ve ever had.

We went for an anniversary brunch. The food is amazing, service is impeccable and we had a lovely view. We could not finish everything we ordered!

Our server, Jackson did an outstanding job! Our meal was excellent! The best I have had in awhile. We ordered the Crab cake, Buffalo chicken Mac n Cheese and the NY Strip Steak. All were phenomenal and the sides to the steak were exceptional, as well. The first thing I said to my Fiancé when we sat down and browsed the menu, was; "Well, we need to come back, because I already see multiple things I want to order." Also, a reasonable bill for the quality of service and food :)

I've been to McWethy's numerous times and have not been disappointed. Request a window seat if you can. The view of the golf course and surrounding area is worth it. The food menu is dynamic but I have no problem finding an item to order. Service has always been excellent. I highly recommend McWethy's!

Dark hardwood everywhere, fine better and wrong selection, good menu choices. On the spendy side, but what do you expect from a country club? Service was very good, all 3 of us enjoyed our food.

The atmosphere is very fun - like an actual Scottish tavern and the food is fantastic. They have a great selection of craft beer and cocktails. I tried their own McWethy's 100 - a wheat ale with a hint of orange - and was not disappointed. Also can recommend their steak sandwich, it has everything on it but the kitchen sink (steak, red pepper, arugula, cheese, and even an egg) and is absolutely delicious. Make sure to save room for dessert and consider sharing as their desserts are huge but also amazing. I had the skillet cookie and it was warm and gooey and absolutely worth it. We will be going back for sure!

Food was good, very pricey. A shrimp would have been nice in my shrimp soup(my friend got one, I didn't 😭,lol) we all enjoyed our meals.
Service was very good. Great server, super sweet, on top of most things.
Neat place beautiful wood, gorgeous single bathrooms, outstanding lighting, and fireplace. I visited in the day. I'm sure it's beautiful at night.

Great food and beautiful view if seated in the main dining room. I got the chicken picatta and my boyfriend got the streak - both with generous servings. Definitely give it a try!

Great place! The staff is ON POINT! The servers don't miss anything, super attentive. The burger was good, as was the mac & cheese, & the beer. But the Reuben was the best we had ever had anywhere... ever. Will definitely return the next time we're in this area. Expect to spend a little more than a regular family-style restaurant but it is a golf course restaurant so you're paying for the atmosphere, view, & extra great service.

My wife and I stopped in here last night after doing some Christmas shopping. We wanted a few drinks and a few appetizers. We've eaten here several times before but wanted to try a few new entrees. Right now for the holiday they have a great new Christmas drink Eggnog White Russian! It was simply amazing and very tasty!
I highly recommend getting one or two lol ha!

We had two appetizers. The Wisconsin cheese curds and the crispy brussel sprouts. The cheese curds melted in your mouth so very soft and cheesey. The crispy brussel sprouts were out of this world! This is how brussel sprouts should be served!

I brought a group of 25 in for lunch last weekend, and our experience was top notch! The manager was very accommodating! We had several servers assigned to our group, and each was very attentive and friendly! Orders were received hot and prompt. The food was absolutely delicious! Many of us did the Pick Two option, and every combination was fantastic! The salads and soups were incredible, and the sandwiches were delightful! We especially loved the turkey and brie and the reuben sandwiches, and the cobb salad, but truly everything was delicious. We were not rushed at all, and were able to linger for almost three hours. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable on a cold day. I would highly recommend this restaurant, as it hit the trifecta of outstanding food, service, and atmosphere.

The food here is great, it can get busy at times and food might take a while to come out but always worth the wait. If you need a quick meal not the place so make sure to order ahead if you do not have time. Great views all around if you get window seating. This last visit food was served quickly as it was not as busy.

I had a wonderful experience. We were greeted and seated immediately. The food was amazing. I like going places were the server isn't overly pushy and let you eat and talk. We saw a couple wedding parties taking pictures on the green. The view was spectacular.

My only tiny complaint was that the glasses had water stains like they weren't dried properly from the dishwasher. I didn't say anything because obviously they were washed.

McWearhys tavern is located on the beautiful grounds of the Mistwood golf coarse. Several years ago my wife and I had our wedding shower here in a private room. The service provided during the shower was amazing. They were quick to serve and made sure all our needs were met (this was back in like 2019). Last week we finally decided to go back and actually eat dinner here. The tavern has a upscale environment. Gives the feeling like being in a gold coarse club house. Service for dinner was fast and friendly. We went with the chicken picata and a shrimp and grits plate with union rings and appetizer. Union rings were super crispy and large in size. Chicken was great and had plenty of lemon sauce with capers. The shrimp on my wife's dish had a good flavor and were not over cooked which was a treat. Water glasses were always filled.
