Sal's Pizza Place

Sal's is just the typical small in town pizza place. What sets it apart is the Pizza is SO good. We always get a meatball pizza. The meatballs are very good. Never had a bad pizza here. You can eat in if you'd like. Nothing fancy, small bar area. Just has that cozy been around a long time feel. When people ask where to get good pizza to Sal's is the only name we give out

Lived in Chicago all my life but made a move to AZ a couple of years ago. I came back to visit and craved the pizza I grew up on. I was in the area and I just had a hunch this was a pizza joint I wanted to try. I was not disappointed!!! Casual dining great service and three weeks later I’m still dreaming about my cheese and sausage pizza. You guys do it right. AZ needs this pizza. Nothing in this state compares. If you ever want to spread your wings and open up a location in AZ I’ll back you.

Originally living in the city of Chicago, I am SUPER picky about my pizza!!! I don’t like the “chain store” pizzerias at all! They taste like tomato sauce on cardboard to me. Sal’s Pizza on the other hand by far is the closest thing to what I consider a true “Chicago Pizza” experience!!! It is the most delicious pizza in this area that I have had. The staff is pleasant to work with, and try their best to get special orders correct, even if your husband asks for some ridiculous pie shape cut when he orders! The food is on time, hot, and fresh. Unfortunately, we are not in their delivery zone so I cannot make a comment on that, but I will say for me…ITS WORTH THE DRIVE!!!

In town for the first time at a great Airbnb, being just two blocks away we have heard a lot of good thing, we ordered about an hour before they closed and they took our order that was a big order for this close to closing time, but they happily took our order gave us an hour window but to our surprise only took about 25-30 mins, the food was good we eat a lot of pizza, we tried both thin crust and deep dish both were awesome, only thing we thought could have been better is that they use canned mushrooms, we just prefer fresh but sals didn’t disappoint my Pizza luvin family, there was four of us and our order was way more than what we needed, we will grab a pie or slice next time we are up this way, maybe spend the day in town and grab a slice, awesome little town Huntley IL turned out to be for us

Our take out order wasn’t correct so when we called to make sure we weren’t overcharged, it turned out to be a misunderstanding during ordering. Even though we weren’t overcharged, the manager still accommodated us and it was a very pleasant phone call.

The food we got was absolutely delicious and we are absolutely returning for their service. Fantastic service and delicious food.

In an age of "shrinkflation," Sal's heaps the fresh ingredients on the best pizza in Northern Illinois. Tonight my wife and I dined in at Sal's; we were waited on by a terrific, friendly server, named Heather. We started with the Zucchini Fries: delicious; then a thin-crust, "Lapsed-Vegetarian Special" (that's not an actual menu item, it's a Vegetarian Special WITH Pepperoni), and it was absolutely mouth-watering, piled high with every ingredient. Sal's never misses the mark. And take my advice, no matter how small your party, just order a Large, so you have the leftovers to enjoy later.

Quaint little restaurant in the center of historic downtown Huntley. Have tried both the thin crust and deep dish pan pizzas and found both to be of excellent quality and taste. It's definitely the best choice in the area.

Small pizza parlor on the square in downtown Huntley with a laid back, cozy vibe. Their thin crust pizza was simple but very good! Not too thin and soggy (like some places can be), and they didn't skimp on the cheese or toppings either. Waitstaff was really nice and attentive, too. We will definitely be back again!

Great pizza and pasta! First time here and won't be our last. They even have great fried cheese curds.

Best pizza around. I ordered pizza last night in Marengo and it was terrible so I had to order sals today to make up for it. Haha sals is the best :)

I’ve lived in Chicago, my whole life. Some of the best, if not the best, pizza around.
Sauce is amazing and the pizza is always cooked to perfection. Yesterday stood out to me the most when I had called before they were even open, they turned the oven on and cooked us a pizza when they could’ve easily said they were not open yet. Great job guys! Customer for life!

We order pizza from here all the time, the last few years we’ve been ordering pizza for our sons birthday party. Well this year Don was the pie maker and absolutely killed the customer service. That man deserves a raise and praise. Thank you Sal’s for the delicious pies!!!

We got carry-out pizza for the holiday weekend. It was terrific - quality ingredients, well baked, and great flavor. We'll be back for sure. Perhaps next time we'll dine in. Thanks to the Sal's staff!

Second time ive been here and very tastey. Lighter on sauce and heavier on the cheese. Just the way i like it. Toppings are fresh tasting and the cust is some of the best ive had. Crispy yet bready. Fyi the town square is right outside so get it to go and sit outside at one of the many tables to enjoy it when the weathers nice.

Thin crust Sal's Special was great. Fantastic local eatery that we plan to return to!

My daughter and I just went in for the first time tonight. Our waitress had a wonderful Irish accent. She was the only one there and it was busy. She made suggestions that we took and wow we loved it! Definitely will be back. The best pizza in Huntley! The onion rings were terrific also. She was wonderful!

Great pizza, great staff! Ended up going twice during quick trip to the area. Nice little draft and wine selection as well. We’ll be back when in the area for sure. Want to try the pasta dishes next time.

Been living in Huntley over 12 years and finally tried Sal's on a tip from a friend. Got a medium pepperoni with black olives for takeout, staff was friendly and quick. Pizza was great! Will be back!

OMG! Never knew this place existed until today! Met Nate and Mary (bartender) Super nice people! I went there for the pizza and blew my boxers off! Killer ingredients and amazingly good. The mark of a good pizza in my opinion is crust, sauce, cheese, Italian sausage, and when they plop it in your hands it actually feels like there's something in the box! I'm all in with this place! Can't wait to dine in to check out the rest of the menu. "Didn't know Huntley had a GREAT pizza until now" Cheers! Mark & Judy Huggins
