Clean and well kept. Books alphabetically sequenced on the shelves. I have acquired the most unusual reads there.

Books are teachers and this store, the schoolhouse.

I thoroughly enjoyed looking through the books that interested me and found some great old factual books. The owners are super friendly and I like that it's organized and a bit cluttered. It made it that much more fun searching. I can't wait to go back and look through all the cookbooks next!!!

I wandered in with a list of books, strolled through the ceiling-high shelves for a few minutes, and decided the only way to make it out of there in a timely manner was to seek assistance. I handed my list over to the librarian, and off she went! I struggled to keep up with her and decided to just hang back as she scurried around retrieving the books on my list. Not more than 3 minutes later, I was checking out and on my way home. Prices are competitive, if not better than Amazon or Barnes & Noble, and you get to support small business. I will definitely return and recommend

This is such an absolutely fantastic place to find the books that you have been looking for. The owner is always so friendly and accommodating and also willing to help you find just what you need.

If you are looking for a used bookstore that will provide you with that feeling of finding a hidden gem look no further. The shelves are overflowing with used books of all genres allowing one to browse endlessly. The smell of paper and the towering aisles allow you to explore this maze of literature in near solitude. The staff at the front desk is always polite and ready to help from behind the near fortress of books awaiting their turn to sit upon the shelves. I highly recommend checking this store out and grabbing a novel or two to show your support.

When I first went in this store I was overwhelmed with the entourage of books! I love it! Jan was amazing! I enjoyed seeing the old old old books.
There is so much wealth of reading and knowledge to be gained in this store. I am extremely excited for the foreign language books!
When I brought my daughter, she was ecstatic because she loves languages. She couldn't wait until we returned.

Plan of spending some time. They have a little of everything. Prices are a little high.

I feel like a kid in a candy shop every time I walk into this shop. There are so many great books to discover at reasonable prices. There is something magical and fulfilling about hunting for a used book instead of buying new on Amazon or a big chain. I always leave with my arms full of books, which is just such a great feeling.

I was trying to kill time before a meeting and I happened upon this bookstore. The store was so charming and had so many great books that I ended up late for my meeting. It was worth it. I think the buyback program is a little byzantine, but that almost doesn't matter. The place is almost literally a mountain of books and I plan to go back soon when I have an entire afternoon to spend poring over their thousands of used books.

After being taken to the original store as a baby, I've now been getting books there for 44 out of the 45 years it's been in business. Great, and massive selection of books. Great place to find old copies of great reads too!

Amazing selection at amazing prices!! Every time I come here I always have a great experience definitely recommend for book lovers!! My favorite book store in the area.

Giant book store on the edge of Crest Hill by Joliet area.

Huge selection of hard cover and paper back books, all genres, and helpful employees that will show you what you're looking for. This is a fantastic place if you love books. Hard to find private owned places like this anymore. Barnes & Nobles is all newer stuff and one of the few big chain book stores left in Chicagoland, so treasure places like this & support them!

This is an amazing book store. It has just been moved to directly across the street and is now bigger, better, and more organized. Please, anyone reading this, DO NOT go to Barnes and Noble. Please at least go here and see if the book you are looking for exists on her shelves. Also, if you are looking for a random read, this is a great great great place to just look around and find something that might intrigue you

An incredible assortment of books on any topic you can imagine. And none of them drain a battery or contain os viruses! Truly an adventure you must see to believe.

Called ahead of time for the books I wanted. The kind lady had them all ready for me when I arrived! Books were in great shape. Nice alternative to B&N pricing.

I absolutely LOVE this place!! If you're a bookaholic like I am, this place is a dream! Sooooo many books to chose from! I always get my aunt a gift certificate from here for Christmas and her birthday. The only place I'll buy my books from anymore 💕📖📚
