Your tacos are really good and so are the burritos and my kids love the rice it was really fluffy and spiced just right.

This place is phenomenal. Generous portions of delicious Mexican food. Awesome service from a polite and attentive server. I can't wait for warmer weather to take advantage of their great patio and enjoy some margaritas in the sun and pretend I am anywhere other than illinois. This place has cracked my top five for places to eat. Id give it more stars if I could.

Easily the best Mexican restaurant in the area. Food is delicious, hot and fresh and the staff is really friendly. Get the steak tacos with a side of rice. Make sure to get the tomatillo sauce!

Excellent food and service. They went out of their way to help me with an order for the ICU at Silver Cross Hospital recently. All 35 tacos and sides (rice, beans, guacamole & chips) were wrapped individually. The food was delicious and their attention to detail was outstanding. They called me with any questions that came up. Great communication. I appreciate all they did to help make this lunch and delivery go so smoothly. They even opened an hour early so the food could be delivered by 11:00 for lunch.

I can't say enough good things about this place, it is overshadowed by other places in the region but is better than most. Don't let it slide by, you can easily drive past it. Do your research when you wanna grab a bite. There are more well known places that frankly suck in comparison. El Motor needs much needed recognition.

Great food! Great drinks! Atmosphere could be better. I have lived near here for years, just recently discovered this place. Maybe more advertising to make it as popular as Fat Rosie's.

This is a follow up from a year ago. Nothing has changed and that’s awesome! I love Mexican food and this place is hard to beat. In the Lincolnway area there is no comparison to El motor, the margaritas are very good and I’ve never had a bad meal! If you like it spicy order the bistec a la mexicana extra spicy like Mike get’s they’ll know what you mean! It’s really good! They are really a wonderful family owned business and I promise you will not be disappointed

Delicious food it seriously doesn’t get any better than this authentic Mexican fresh food😋!!! Staff is very polite and respectful; they make my visit spectacular every time. Food is always served hot and delicious, I just can’t stop eating!!!! 🌮 This restaurant is a must. if I could rate it 100000 stars I would !!!!!!

El Motor in Frankfort, Il is our new favorite! First off, we made a huge order and not a single thing was wrong, so I was already pretty happy. My boyfriend and myself had taco dinners and extra tacos on the side so we could try a few flavors. Speaking for myself, I can say that the chicken, pork, beef, and the chili relleno tacos were all really great. I had them with the added cilantro and onion. The meats seemed well seasoned and weren't too dry. The rice was nice and fluffy. I didnt order refried beans, but the bf enjoyed his whole meal as much as I did. Neither of us had any complaints, and the prices were really reasonable. We will definitely be back. Yum!!!

Food is always cooked fresh and hot temperature wise. The spices are well balanced and very clean.

Absolutely the best Mexican food in the south burbs! Family owned, cooked when you order, I can’t say enough good things about this place. The mango margaritas with chamoy (sp?) is really good and the bistec al Mexicano is the best I’ve ever had, I order it extra spicy!

There food is so good . They never disappoint. I just wish I lived closer but I will still take the drive out there it worth it.

In the old El Pueblito location, but way better! Food is ordered at the counter and served at your table. The chips are super fresh (they fry their own) and our dinners were hot, fresh, and delicious. You choose your taco toppings - choice of either cheese & lettuce or cilantro & onion. There are lots of meat choices. The chile relleno tacos (my favorite) were very good without being too greasy. The adult beverages options are beer and margaritas. The dining room was pretty full for around 8pm on a Friday, maybe because of the margarita special (1/2 price from 4-8pm on Fridays). Pros: Really great food, generous portions freshly prepared, nice spot for a quick dinner before the movie theater! Cons: The margaritas were too sweet for my taste. The chips were served with a very small portion of pico di gallo and hot & mild sauces in plastic squeeze bottles (no salsa to speak of).

RECOMMENDATION FOR THE MANAGEMENT: There is an unused area at the back of the restaurant (looks like it may have been the full bar area of the previous establishment). This would be a great area for A SALSA BAR! When we lived in another area, we used to go out of our way to visit a casual Mexican spot that had a salsa bar (with around a dozen or so freshly prepared salsas) just because sampling the different salsas was such a fun activity to share with friends & family.

This place is great! great food and very friendly staff,,the food is very authentic Mexican and of all the stuff i tried there wasn't one thing i didnt like..i could eat here 3 times a week...Frankfort's hidden gem of a restaurant!

I had the chimichanga dinner and normally when i get a chimichanga from some place it's usually not crispy this one was very crispy and had a little bit of oil on it i could tell this was fresh so safe to say their food is very fresh the rice and beans were also very good actually everything was very good I'd definitely go back here

The kids and I absolutely love this place! The food was delicious, the prices were great, the service was very nice and the place was clean and we'll kept. Going back for sure!

Finding good Mexican Restaurant in a new to me area is huge.
El Motor has good food and a great lunch special. I also tried the enchiladas suizas,and the barbaqoua)

Very good and homemade! The homemade tortilla chips with pico de gallo and salsa were very good. Our tacos and carne asada were very good! We will be back.
