The Derby Hotel Louisville North

Very nice staff. General Manager Danny and the owner were very receptive to customer input. Will stay here again. Nice place to stay if you're going to the Derby Playhouse too!!!

I want to start off by saying the staff here is amazing especially Mr.Johnny & Mrs.Debbie. We had a 1st Annual Event here and everything was perfect except the food. We highly recommend Anyone that wants a huge beautiful venue to go here but the hotel only allows their own catering and its Stumblers Catering. I highly suggest you go to a tasting first, the food was horrible. Overall the hotel is amazing and has plenty of room to entertain.

Good hotel, clean, nice people. Well worth the money.

No microwaves in the room and the community microwaves were far from the room I was in and not large enough to hold a 20 Oz coffee cup to heat it up. Restaurant on site, and they offer take out yet no menus in the rooms... why not? All the carpet in the I wing is ripped in the hallways. Curtains in the rooms are ripped. Toilet doesn't flush properly. There are no items in the vending machines. The ice maker makes a loud humming noise and leaks water. This hotel needs to be updated badly.

Clean room, big bed. Pillows a bit stiff. For breakfast we were handed a brown paper bag with some cereal, milk (im lactose intolerant) an apple, and some juice and a.. breakfast claw? Pool was cold even though on the website it says its heated.... disappointed but the room was nice and clean.

I booked a room for my wife and teenage daughters. We truly expected more of a 3 star Radisson Hotel. It was nothing like the advertised photos. They were assighed a room on a wing on the edge if the property. They did not feel safe as there was an abandoned van with broken windows in that parking lot. Their room was dated and the beds were hard and uncomfortable. There was a foul smell in the room as if it used to be a smoking room. They advertised free continental breakfast but it was not available. We will never book a stay at this property again.

The hotel is quite outdated but it was clean. I mean I booked a room for $71 on Expedia and it was definitely a $71 room. The heater sounded like a 57 chevy with a bad muffler. The king size bed had 5 small pillows (about the size of sofa throw pillows and not the extra large ones). The pillows were not comfortable and neither was the bed. But what can you expect for $71/night. Was told it was going to become a Radison hotel next week...I hope the Raddison brand updates this facility.

Late night drive and arrived after 3am only to have housekeeping bang on my door at 8:10 am this morning wanting to clean my room. If you think this will be a nice hotel because it has the name Radisson- then you’re mistaken. It’s not nice at all. The online photos are misleading.

The beds are very hard. You have 4 square extra hard pillows on the bed. I called the desk a little after 9:00 pm to let them know we had no television working. Finally at 11:00 pm a man came up to replace the wire. It wasn't even the right wire. He was the only working a very booked hotel for Cheer Derby plus driving the shuttle bus. So we paid for a night sitting in our room with nothing.
