Nice place to get out an explore if you've been driving for a while. No restrooms, so go somewhere with those facilities first if you need to do that before you get there! Also, please drive cautiously as there are a lot of Amish buggy's in the area. 😊

Pretty neat place. Small good hike. Enjoyable. Plenty of seats if you bring young ones. There was a honey bee swarming. They were loud.

I stumbled upon this small park purely by chance. The trail was very well maintained and graced on both sides by wildflowers and gorgeous wetlands. The Meridian markers were fascinating with one in particular on an elevated platform due to the fact that it was placed in the wetlands. It must have been incredibly difficult and exhausting for the intrepid surveyors. Wonderful historical site.

A nice little historic state park with a 2 mile in and out trail to see the survey markers for Michigan meridian and baseline. If you are interested in cartography, surveying, history of surveying, it's a very cool place to visit. Park and trail is well maintained and easy to get to. Michigan is unique in having two markers.

Good place to take kids, the walk is about 1.5-2 km, so not too bad.

There are 2 circular plack on ground. The path is sometime not that clear but that's part of fun 🙃

Such a cute little park. A bit out if the way but the trail is nice, not too many bugs and an interesting historic area!

I walk this several times a year. No picnic table, rest rooms or kayak launch as one reviewer said there was, but it is worth a visit for the history alone. An easy hike to the markers. It is an out and back. Bring bug spray if hiking during mosquito season.

This park is beautiful. There are two historical markers out there. It uses a hiking trail to access them but it was only a 1 1/2 mile hike round trip.

9-5-2020 Nice little walk in the woods....great little walk to enjoy my open carry freedom along with my German Shepherd, girl friend and her grand-daughter. About 45 min-1 hour to complete. Live 15 min away and never heard of this place till just recently.

Great little 1.50 mile walk. Wish it was a full circle and not a "t" shape trail. Easy and well marked. Can be wet in areas. Love the history and shaded woodsy scenery.

Had fun walking the paths today through the rain and hail. The kids had fun in the puddles and mud on this spring day. Some trees have fallen over the winter across the paths but it's beautiful.

A super fun geography related park! It's a short walk from the parking lot to the markers which indicate where the markers from the original survey of Michigan are! There's also a fun explanatory sign right at the parking lot. This location is odd in that it has two markers, when usually the baseline runs straight through the meridian. But, due to a break in the surveying and some errors, we get two! Overall a fantastic park for any geography nerd.

This is a very small park, but great if what your safe after is a short hike.

Well maintained, pleasent path to the sites. Interesting forest and survey sites, must have required stamina to mark these points, they have my respect!
