Periwinkle's Bakery on Broadway

We used Periwinkle's Bakery for the dessert bar at our wedding on 9.9.2023 and I can say their desserts are a crowd pleaser!! Everyone loved the desserts and I loved how they cut them into half pieces rather than the whole piece. We had roughly 150 guests and we ordered 5 large platters and ended up with one extra platter by the end of the night so it worked out perfectly!

I ordered a Ribbon Torte for a friend's birthday. They decorated it perfectly to reflect my friend's love of gardening. The torte itself was amazing - fresh, and perfectly baked & frosted with scrumptious buttercream icing. I highly recommend Periwinkle Bakery!

Thank you Periwinkle’s for making my graduation celebration all the better! They were incredibly kind and helpful from the moment I placed my order over the phone to the moment I picked it up. The ribbon torte was a definite crowd pleaser and the decoration was exactly what I was hoping for. They weren’t sure they would be able to fit all of the text I requested on the smallest torte which was completely fine, but I was so happy to see they managed to make it work and look wonderful on the final product. Chef Alicia and the Perwinkle Bakery Staff absolutely knocked it out of the park with our wedding dessert bars and cake. Super helpful through out the whole process and prices well. We barely had any leftovers to take home after or event because they were so good. Will continue to use this bakery for any cake or dessert needs in the future.

We got the Dutch apple pie for my husband’s birthday and it was hands down the best apple pie I’ve ever had!!

I can't thank them enough for helping make our daughter-in-law 50th birthday so special. We had a 50th murder mystery surprise party, and the cake decorations were amazing. The cake was the talk of the night because it tasted even better than it looked. Our grandson travels all over the world and is a chief, and he was impressed. Needless to say it will impress at what ever function you have.

Fabulous cakes with wonderful icing. We had the chocolate with, I think, white icing for my daughter's wedding and many people came up to me and said it was the best cake they had ever had. My daughter is from Chicago, I'm from St Louis,
another daughter, Milwaukee, and another from Madison. We scouted everywhere for the best tasting cake and we all agreed it was Periwinckles.

I cannot say enough how much I recommend Periwinkle's Bakery. I had called out of blue days before a major holiday for a large order to brighten up my wife's day who is a nurse in a ICU at local hospital. Even before I could finish my story the woman was quick to respond , "yes" we can help. Not only that the staff was willing to put together 2 very large platters of delicious, beautiful bakery and sweets they had it ready in 45min. The customer service was fantastic but the food was even better!!!! The treats where definately was a huge hit. Made a big impact not only on my wife's day but many other health care workers dealing with the stresses of long exhausting Covid days, and even months. I definately would recommend Periwinkle to anyone who wants great customers service and fantastic Bakery. Thanks Periwinkle, customer for life!

We had Periwinkles make us a birthday cake for our son's first birthday. They have made holiday pies for us many times, and other treats for events. They made us a great cake that everyone loved, and a small one for our son to smash in his high chair, all decorated by hand. We will continue to visit them for events and for cookies and donuts for certain!

West Allis Hale had their 50th reunion this past weekend and the tortes were the " icing on the dinner!" Fabulous German Chocolate/ Raspberry/Carrot tortes for 150 people. Bet the wedding Cakes, could be tortes with more variety for the guests. That is how I discovered this bakery and I am from Madison. Our classmates liked variety and they could choose. No cupcakes for us!!!!! Thankyou again to Alicia and her staff.

I love this place. Got cupcakes for my wedding here, a gender reveal cake for our baby, and they always have good sweet treats for when you need to satisfy you sweet tooth. Always look forward to getting to stop in.

We litarally have been using them for every occassion we need a cake for the last 6 month. Best tortes ever. Our guests have given so many compliments about how pretty the cakes look and how yummy they taste. Reasonably priced and creative decorators. So glad i stumbled upon this little gem in Waukesha. I highly recommend.

You've gotta try the tortes, the Deutsche torte is my personal favorite and the Black Forest is another favorite of mine. Everything in the bakery case looks delicious.
