Meat BBQ

The food me and my boyfriend got was to die for!!! Everything was absolutely delicious! The cheesecake was my favorite!!! We both highly recommend the meat mountain. The briskwt was melt in your mouth delicious and the beef jerky was smoked to perfection. Honestly best food I've ever had and best restaurant I've ever been to. Shout-out to the amazing waitress and the cooks! Love the country / rock theme! Definitely worth the visit, we had enough for tasty leftovers.
Will be coming back for more!!

Best food in Lansing hands down the smells are amazing. Everything was so tender, and all the sauces were absolutely wonderful!! My boys got the Boss Logg, which it had almost every meat on it. So we got to try a lot. The smoked flavor is so great! Thank you so much for your great service and food. Will definitely be going back

This place is fun and located in a really cool area in Lansing. Our waitress was great and I was dumb enough to try their challenge. You have to finish a Boss Log (which is insanely huge) and 2 sides in 45 minutes. I didn't even get close! Ha! The food was really great and the experience is fun. If you split the challenge between 4 or 5 people...there is plenty of food....it's a pretty good deal! Ha! Fun place to eat.

Best restaurant I've been to in a very long time. The atmosphere is great, the decor is sooo 'me' and the food is beyond fabulous. I'd honestly be happy to die, stuffing my face in this establishment. 🤣❤

Absolutely delicious barbecue. Brisket was perfection and the Mac and cheese to die for. Service friendly but seemed a little understaffed, not as attentive as it could have been, but the food made up for it. Great beer selection. Would definitely come back!

My son and I very much enjoyed the experience. I haven't seen him eat some many different types of BBQ! I also dug the metal memorabilia everywhere. The owner has great taste in tunes!

I gave a 4 start on atmosphere only because I am not into large crowds. Also I mainly got take-out. Everything is superb. I have stayed limited on what I have gotten. I have tried the meat mountain, egg rolls, Miyagi with cheese and the smash burger. Those do rotate but Everything was great. I will continue to keep coming here eventually I will try the boss log an other menu items.

It's the best restaurant I'm Greater Lansing Area. Wonderful food, great customer service and awesome ambience. Beef brisket us at par with the best bbq places in US. Dinning here is like a (bi-)weekly ritual. This place is among the top restaurants in US on my list

I ordered the pork belly Reuben and the meat fries. Both were delicious added barbecue sauce to the meat fries great customer service wasn’t too busy a little dark in the corner we sat in.

Really, really good brisket! Ordered the double heifer. And really liked the sandwich. Fries were tasty! I ordered a side Jalapeno Cheddar brat, which was average. Sauces were really good though and I like a creative menu.
I got a small sandwich, fries and side brat.. was $25. So expect to pay downtown lansing prices. Parking wasn’t great from what I saw.

The bartender recommended all her favorites and she has amazing choices. Skins appetizer, brisket, broccoli salad and ciderguys mimosa were outstanding. Definitely worth the drive.

Been here several times and I give it a 5/5 every visit. Everything I’ve tried so far has been amazing from the brisket to the loaded fries and the cheesecake can’t go wrong with any of the choices on the menu … best bbq in the state by far

A really good restaurant with good bbq and friendly service. The sauces are house made, the meat is fresh smoked and they make a point to ask if you want the fatty (point) or lean (flat) of the brisket. No complaints about price or speed.

Their BBQ is excellent but many places have great BBQ these days. What makes this place shine are the sides and sandwiches. Meat fries, made to order mac and cheese, MEAT MOUNTAIN, the wings... it's all great. Whatever you get make sure you have leftovers to take home.

Food is always good. This time I got Meat Plate - pull chicken, broccoli salad and BBQ baked beans. It was delicious 😋

We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon for a tasty lunch. I got the smoked Turkey because I’ve had it before and it’s surprisingly good - moist and flavorful (not your grandma’s dried out thanksgiving day bird). The sides are all pretty good, some have a bit of heat to them, but that seems to be most restaurants in Old Town. I tried the S’more cocktail and it was pretty good, if you like coffees, thought it left a bit of burn marshmallow shrapnel in the glass.

Absolutely amazing food. The egg rolls as an appetizer are a must have. Can't go wrong with any entree here. The mac and cheese as a side were okay but the beans were outstanding. I've had the boss log a couple of times, but chose the chicken wings this time around. No regrets. I will do the eating challenge one day!

It was the best place I have eaten at in months. I would highly recommend it. Planning on going back soon I will update. My first meal was the brisket sandwich 🥪 Update second trip was just as good had the double heifer. 100% recommend!!
