Oaks Campground

Grew up coming here but alot has changed. The playground is nice and also another small one in the back by the rustic. Great to keep my kid occupied. They have a basketball court, putt putt golf, and random activities for kids and adults. The bathrooms are nice, upgraded, clean, hot water, and smell good. There are 2. The showers have nice hot water and decent pressure. They also have 2 laundry rooms on sites and fairly priced. All in all it's a nice place and we will be back.
I tried to write another review but I can't figure it out. However my husband and I left another review with his email. We returned this past weekend and I'm so glad we did. Our family and friends and kids all had a great time. The fireworks show was awesome guys, thank you. The band was great! My kids and I had a blast dancing and the baby loved the lights. Lol I got to do the wagon ride with my daughter to bring back the memories of being a kid and coming here and doing these same activities 22 years later!! We look forward to coming back and making many more memories!! The ladies in the office, yall are wonderful, so sweet and helpful. Everyone is literally treated like family. It's a really is a great atmosphere!

Very cute campground. Fishing pond, swimming pond, park, Pavillion area and public restrooms/showers. $2/adult for visitor pass. They had wagon rides for kids and today offered bingo for the adults. Plenty of trees for shade.

Its a great family campground!My son and his family came for the 4th of july from Minnesota and stayed at our site. We all had a wonderful 4th with plenty of activity,s!

I know the owners and my best friend is the manager, this campground is the place you want to go! Family friendly, great activities for kids, and a place I’ve been going to since I was 11. Their fireworks show this past Sunday was nothing short of amazing. I love this place, it’s my second home away from home. 5/5 stars everytime.

Had a beautiful weekend besides the Jamboree, we had to leave at night due to the unruly crowd however management did an excellent job at keeping it at bay, for that you deserve more than 5 stars. I can imagine the hard work you and the staff went through as I sat and watched quite a bit of what was happening and it was uncalled for no staff member should have been pushed as I see the little blonde get twice. I can fully appreciate the no generators after the 3 young men at faster horses. Even though you may have had a handful of bad reviews please don’t let that get you down. The oaks is an amazing place for families.

Beautiful place, it was so relaxed and special couldn't have asked for a better place to enjoy myself! They come up with activities and fun things for the kids to do, around holidays and have certain events weekend planed out for the campers. Just an overall AMAZING place to take your family and have fun!

Very nice quiet camp site , no issues,great staff. friendly, welcoming all-around, lots of kids and dogs I would recommend.

Wonderful secluded campground abundant with wildlife. Quiet, peaceful setting with lots to offer including; put put golf and archery. The owners are always improving on your experience and maintenance is very knowledgeable and attentive to your needs. As an added bonus, monthly campers electric is included so there are no surprises or hidden costs. Clean water, good pressure.

We were there this labor day weekend and had a great time. There was bingo and a live band. The young ladies working at the camp store were really friendly and helpful. We highly recommend staying here!

I’ve been camping here for 24 years and I wouldn’t choose any other park, I’ve had friends and family camp at Sherwood or greenwood archers and just isn’t the same homie vibe you get from the oaks. I recommend all my friends and family to the park, Tammy and Tim are great, humble folks.

Great little campground! Very friendly staff. Very cute camp store filled with ice cream and goodies. Biscuits and gravy for breakfast was awesome! Had a great time for the Jamboree.

We had a lot of fun here. My uncle has a trailer here and they have a man made pond. They have alot of things to do basketball rims, mini golf, volleyball and now they made paths you can drive thru with your golf carts!!! They sell ice cream too. Its definitely a good time

I grew up at this campground! Loved it as a kid and love it even more now with all the renovations in the past couple years. Its beautiful. Plenty of events and things to do for the kids!

Great family campground... with a mix of permanent campers and weekenders or weekly camping. Has a nice swimming pond, separate fishing pond, 2 renovated bath houses, country store, free wi-fi at club house. Open from mid April to Mid October and has something going on for campers almost every month.... Cardboard boat race, golf cart rodeo, 4th of July celebration with fantastic fireworks and live band, horseshoe tourney, and a Halloween "Party" the end of Sept! Wonderful friendly atmosphere!

I havent been here in years but our family used to do something called "grandma camping" lots of great memories here. I think about returning and camping a lot, some of my best childhood memories come from this campground.

I had good time it peaceful and quiet time the office staff and the owner was awesome

Camping here since i was a child and still do my kids love every time were there the atmosphere it very friendly staff does there best to make everyone happy

rustic atmosphere w/ modern facility .. wooded trails .. swimming pond .. also a fish pond .. hot showers plus laundry room.. two playgrounds, a little mini golf, activities for kids on different weekend .. they do holiday theme's .. the owner's and staff are always helpful.. 15 mins from Meyer and 20 mins from down town Jackson about 30 - 40 mins from down town Ann Arbor
