Blue Ginger Asian Kitchen

Blue Ginger is the best sit-down Chinese restaurant in the Grand Rapids area. The service is always phenomenal. I've been coming for 10+ years and am yet to have a bad meal. I'm yet to even have a so-so meal. It's always great.

They bring water and hot tea to your table. The tea is so good and compliments their food nicely. The food comes out family style, with a big bowl of communal rice and a dish of each ordered entree. The rangoons here are very delicate, I recommend them.

If you like spicy food, Blue Ginger's hottest available spice level probably won't reach what you want. Even their hottest spice is pretty tame heat-wise. Still, if you want premium Chinese food in GR and not low quality mass made buffet Chinese, then Blue Ginger is the place to go. I'd go here over PF Chang's any day.

We ate just after lunch hour, our server was very attentive, kept our waters full, gave us the sauces we asked for or needed for our egg rolls, and our two entries. Our dishes were excellent in taste, and presentation as well late this summer. We will be back the next time we are on the southwest side of town, which will be on 01/23/2024 for lunch. Looking forward to another great meal.

I always get take out. Everything I've tried has been delicious and it's always fast.

We travel from Ludington just to get the food here! So yummy, fast service (even when they are understaffed!) and always quiet and clean.

I've been to this restaurant a handful of times. Every single time I go here I feel very welcome. The service is excellent and the food is even better. They have a very extensive menu as well. You should go check it out tonight.

I had Edamame appetizer and Vegetable Deluxe as the entree. Edamame was per usual, veg deluxe was hot, broccoli was perfectly cooked as were the other veggies delivered with a light sauce, not goopy. Service was great.

I love their Mongolian Chicken. The rice is good. Prices aren't bad. Friendly staff. No long waits to get your food.

Love Blue Ginger! Food and owners are great. Have been going there for years and prior to their other restaurant Hunan.

I've visited this restaurant twice and the food has consistently been good and authentic! We came during lunch time, which seemed to be pretty busy, and ordered 3 dishes for 3 people. The portion sizes were huge and we had a lot to take home. Pictured is our order of house pan fried noodles, shrimp in lobster sauce, and beef chow fun each which came with a side of egg drop soup and a choice of either an egg roll or two wontons. I would definitely recommend family-style ordering (thanks Sara for the suggestions)!

At the The Blue Ginger you are in for a wonderful taste experience! I brought a party of 8 and we all liked our food - and we are planning to come back again! The service was fantastic - friendly and willing to go the extra mile!
We came with a group and were able to talk to each other and hear each other - this was a big plus for us!
We will be back again!

I love this restaurant so much!! We love it so much we end up going about once a month!! The food is incredible and the staff is extremely nice!!! They always go out of their way to make their customers happy whether your dinning in or getting take out. PS if you dine in they will give you complementary tea!!

Took my 97 year old Mom who is extremely picky there for lunch. She couldn't stop talking about how good it was. The food was top notch and although the place was packed because it was Friday lunch, the service was excellent! It's clean, and cheery with reasonable prices! Want to also give a shout out to our waiter who was spot on!!

I know surprisingly I have not ever eaten here. Wow have I been missing out! The staff is great. The food was delicious and it came out fast and hot and fresh. I would recommend everyone eats here!! I think I have found a new favorite for an Asian Restaurant. Our server was joyful and he had some good laughs with us. Great job Blue Ginger!

Loved it! Classic Asian eats in a sit down enviroment. Really enjoyed the golden chicken and egg drop soup. Service was just ok.
