My wife and I visited, she for the first time. I’ve dined there often with friends after a round of golf. She was surprised! The place was so clean; the bathrooms were spotless. I loved my shrimp quesadillas and she really enjoyed her salad. Huge portions, we took quite a bit home. Nice, warm chips and delicious salsa for openers and a very attentive server! We’ll be back!

Lil Mexico is fantastic food! Great staff and owner is a great guy. If you have not been you need to take a trip and visit this place!

Food was decent small portions though server was a little forgetful on certain items.

Update: Since this review we come here once a week. The service and food continues to be excellent!
First time here and it was very delicious! I had the carnitas and barbacoa with beans, which were perfectly tasty. We also had a bowl mix. The beer was cold and drink was very good. The service was great! Very patient while we figured out what we wanted to order. We will definitely come back! There again for our weekly visit. As usual, great service, excellent food and perfect beverages!

We love Little Mexico! It’s really tasty and affordable for the portion you get. We’ve been here twice now (1 time carried out) and enjoyed our meals both times. Most recently, I got the southwest chimichangas and they were KILLER! Definitely recommend!!

Frist time there, they give your money's worth. Great food. Friendly staff. Clean bathrooms.

Highly recommend! Get tacos and street corn here! They have many options and types of tacos. You can build your own! I also enjoyed their horchata. The staff was friendly and we were able to order our food smoothly. We also had chips and guacamole. They have lunch specials and daily specials. We will be going here again, one of our favorite places for Mexican food in the Grand Rapids area!

We picked up our food and ate at home but the restaurant is very cute and want to visit in person soon!
Food was so fresh. You could tell the rice was made that day because it was soft and full of flavor! The salsa also had a fresh taste to it as well. Overall we loved the tacos and enchiladas we ordered and recommend others to check them out!

Great place to drop in for lunch. You decide what you want on your tacos. This day I went with everything. All fresh toppings. You must give them a try!

These people are amazing, would marry into the business if they let me! So insanely nice and fast with their food, portion sizes are crazy generous

This is where I love going with my Golf Girls Spring and Summer. The food is great, the Chios and Salsa are yu.my. we all have different food interests and some have dietary restrictions but this place has something for everyone and accommodate you when possible to get you an entree the way you need it. I also pick up shredded chicken tinga, tortillas, rice, for our boys shrimp tacos for my hubby. For girls night, I highly recommend the tall top shelf margaritas on the rocks...you won't regret it.

I always go here at least once a week. I always leave full, portions are amazing, and the food is to die for. Definitely recommend

I hadn’t been in probably over a year, came for lunch today. This place is so good. Great carnitas and really good value for the amount of food.

I only eat tacos from here they are amazing their ground beef is so good and my friends love the steak. This is a good place to pick up and go out too, they are always friendly and overall really good and not super expensive.

I have tried various Mexican food places around Grand Rapids, and the food, even at the bigger higher-end places, never comes close to this little tucked-away corner place. Service is always good. Have been there dozens of times and there has only 1 less than stellar service experience, we all have off days. There are only a few things I didn't like, to me the salsa was runny, but I prefer more of a fresh chunky type. But it has good flavor, just liquidy. I'm not a fan of their red sauce, it tasted like mole' to me, I don't like mole' so if you do, you might like this. I always get carnita st. tacos on corn tortillas, no matter where I go. The corn tortilla is enough to hold it together, the meat is seasoned just right, not too dry, but not sloppy wet either, and the fresh onion and cilantro are the exact amount to make the flavors balance out, so it all blends together for perfection. The margaritas here are just perfection. I get the frozen strawberry with salt, if you don't want the glass that is as big as your head, make sure the staff knows you want a regular glass size. The combination of flavors here is just right as well. The sweetness, tequila, and salt perfectly balanced for an amazing drink. Meals also come with beans and rice, which are good as well, both have good flavor, especially compared to other restaurants in the area which are kinda bland.

The first time here. Really cool setup. You order when you walk in and they make it right in front of you. Huge lunch plates, authentic at an great price.

Food was on point service was on point everything about the place was on point. Could not recommend enough. I truly believe they deserve 10 stars
