This is one of my favorite hotels I've been to so far. The way that they've taken a historical building and modernized it without losing that vintage charm is really something to behold of. You can feel the owner's reverence for the past at every turn. Art-deco fixtures, lovely art, and big band jazz play throughout the building. The room itself was spacious with a small living room, work area, wet bar, and a giant bedroom. Absolutely worth a night or two's stay.

I reserved a room for my daughter and new son in law to spend their wedding night. I booked them a nice queen room and when they checked in they were offered the honeymoon suite as an upgrade! How awesome! The groom is not a fan of heights so they were given a beautiful suite on a lower floor! Amazing service I'm so very impressed! Their night was fantastic, thank you so much!

Really cool hotel. The building is very old and you can really feel all of the history. The design of the rooms and lobby are very unique. We had a two room suite with a King and Queen bed that was very spacious and comfortable for 4 people. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel reminded me of the setting of one of my favorite movies, the Grand Budapest. This hotel has tons of history and character like we have never seen. This is a massive property with beautiful architecture and art, located right in downtown Ogden. There is plenty of parking; we had no problem finding a spot for our Sprinter and trailer. The rooms are spacious and freshly remodeled; ours featured a king sized bed and a queen with a partition in the middle; some rooms even feature jaccuzis. The bathrooms feature a unique signature shampoo and soap which I dug. Our room had an excellent view of the mountains and city. The complimentary breakfast was next-level buffet style which featured hot items – bacon, French toast, eggs and hashbrowns. The property also has a hi-end restaurant that we’re going to give a try next time. This hotel was something different and fun; when visiting salt lake city we would drive out of the way for another stay. I’m already planning a leisurely return trip. A+

I can not stress enough how cool this hotel is. This is a return trip for me with another act; last time through I was with 1000mods from Greece and I fell in love with this legendary property. So much cool architecture and history here but with tastefully modern upgraded (extra-large) rooms that keep to its original vibe as well. This is one of the last Grand hotels still in operation in Utah. Plenty of free parking for large vehicle in the parking deck (which also has its own security guard). Two great restaurants (check out the fancy one on the 11th floor). Complimentary buffet style breakfast with real cooked food (no powdered eggs or microwave sausage). Super friendly desk people and wonderful views of the mountains as well. Words do not do this property justice; you have to check it out for yourself. Tons of great restaurants and fun things to do within walking distance too.

Our clients in the band the Banditos recently stayed here after a performance near by and loved the historic property! The staff is super friendly, the coffee is always fresh, and the rooms are perfect! Thank you so much for your hospitality, and we can't wait to stay with you again!

Cool old hotel. Rooms are laid out a bit weird and the decor is almost purposely kitschy, but it's a neat place to visit.

I’ve always admired the architecture and history of this grand old hotel, that’s why I’m giving it a 2. I was stuck in an 85 degree room because the AC was broken and the windows don’t open at all. The desk gave me a fan, but I still felt like I was suffocating in a sauna. The 50 degree outside air was inaccessible. Very unpleasant!!!
