Ottawa Beach General Store

What a great childhood memory! We stopped by yesterday, and it was exactly as I remembered as a child in the 70's. The layout, the ice cream stand and the customer service was excellent. The yummy ice cream in a waffle cone was delicious and hit the spot! Thank you! Looking forward to seeing the renovation as well!

What a fun place. Ride bikes there to get ice cream. So many flavors ( all of them good).

Anything you could ever want here!the General store has snacks, camping supplies, gifts, and grocery’s. Lots of new ice cream flavors to try and, the ones we tried, were all so good. Lots of interesting sundaes as well. We felt bad, there was only one person working there and the place was slammed with ice cream orders.

I use to live here briefly but I still have family here and we would come visit every few years. I’ve try many ice cream places but not here until this year. Omg their ice cream flavors are the best!!! We all had different flavour and everything tastes so good, better than the other ice cream place: Kil*** (imo).
I had the lavender rose? Amazing! Hubby had the black cherries? And the kids had strawberry and chocolate fudge. Their ice cream is not overly sweet. I highly recommend this place for people with different taste buds bc they have varieties.

Patio is dog friendly. This is a cute and lovely store that takes me back. Staffed with friendly teens enjoying their summer job. I just stopped in to try the donuts. They were so fresh and crispy and only $1.

Great quaint general store. A historical landmark for Holland. The store has a fun candy selection were kids can still buy candy with loose change. It has a wide variety of ice cream, from ice cream cones with waffle cones, beach themed sundaes to shakes and malts. The store also has camping supplies, sandles, lake decor, tee shirts and sweatshirts.

Cute local shop with a great ice cream selection. They also have the general store with fresh donuts. Haven't tried them but they look good. A must-stop shop for vacationers.

Gem of a store!
All you need for breakfast (fresh donuts and coffee), the beach (beach pails, sunscreen, gear and towels), a bbq (s'mores, snacks) and beverages (cold beer, wine and liquor!). The best feature may be the ice cream shop with homemade and delicious local ice cream, and 24+ flavors of soft serve. The penny candy section can keep kids occupied picking out a favorite treat, and the local souvenirs make this store full service.
Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Recommend as a stop to experience how lots of stores used to be.

This place has a very beachy vibe. Also they sell ice cream with a deck/patio to sit on and relax. It's about a 1/4 mile from Holland State Beach.

I have grown up buying ice cream and candy from here. They have much more here for other grocery needs. They have also added a little more as the years have gone on.

Nice little convenience store with a little of everything. Fresh donuts available every morning that are delicious.

Best place for doughnuts or ice cream if you are camping at Holland State Park. The doughnuts are made fresh and if you get there around 8am they might still be warm. They have both hand-dipped and soft serve ice cream and they know how to make an awesome sundae. It’s a general store so they also have a little of everything inside.

Went for ice cream there last night. They have soft serve, Hudsonville, and house made ice creams. I had Salted Carmel with Pretzel pieces, it was very good. They have several picnic tables and lots of benches where you can sit and enjoy your ice cream. We choose to walk a short distance and sit by the channel where we could boat watch.

Best place in Holland to go for ice cream.

Great ice cream with friendly quick service. We almost skipped this place because the line was so long. But I'm glad we didn't. First it was fantastic ice cream and second the line moved very quickly. Don't let the long lines scare you away. You'll be rewarded for your short wait.

We love this little shop. Includes an ice cream stand and a general store that has beach provisions along with candy, snacks, drinks and souvenirs. Definitely stop here when you're in the area!

Our favorite place to get ice cream! Coconut almond chip is my FAVORITE! So good. Candy, pop, some groceries, nick-nacks and Beach stuff are available inside. Nice patio with shade. Not far from the beach. Love this place 🥰

Our favorite ice cream stop in the summer. Better than Captain Sundae, in my opinion. So many sundae combos, soft serve flavors, and packed ice cream flavors. Prices are great too. Parking is very limited though, especially during weekends.
