Marie totally saved my hair! Lesson learned.. don’t try to bleach your own hair 😅 I walked in thinking my only option was going all solid brown to correct my bleached orange hair but Marie worked her magic and gave me a beautiful balayage! Loved the salons energy and will be a repeat customer there at Taki!

Found this wonderful hair salon on a whim and I’m forever grateful!!! Annabelle colored my hair and wow. Besides being a kind and personable stylist she is also sooo talented!!! I loved how she was observant and paid attention to detail with my color.
Also a major plus is how kind and sociable the owner is!!!! She has definitely picked a group of amazing stylists!!!!!

Beautiful salon with talented staff. I have had a few experiences at Taki for both myself and my two teenage girls. Both of the stylists we have used Marie and Diana are very experienced and professional. The owner takes pride in her business. At my most recent appointment there was a slight problem and the owner went out of her way to not only diffuse the situation but to validate me as a customer while maintaining complete professionalism. I love the fact that you can book online and appointments are readily available. The salon offers an inviting atmosphere with complementary beverages. I highly recommend this salon.

I have been going here for years, and Elona is amazing, to say the least! She is especially great with blonde colors. I love that she can just look at my hair and know exactly what to do.The whole staff is great too. Everyone is so kind and helpful. If you’re looking for great service and experience, this is your salon!

I met Diana today for my hair color and she did amazing job. She is amazing and she took time to understand my concern as I was bit nervous and helped me with right color for my hairs. She is very helpful and amazing.

I was a walk in on the weekend before New Year's Eve. I was experiencing unexplainable hair breakage and was pretty emotional about the amount of hair I was losing. Angelina was able to get me in because she had an appointment reschedule on her. She was so kind to me and I love the cut she gave me. I will definitely be returning.

I drove 3 hours to have my hair done at this salon and it did NOT disappoint. Angelina was absolutely incredible! I told her what I wanted and she went above and beyond! I came out of that salon feeling like a brand new person, the staff were so nice. Great conversations had as well.

Diana saved my hair. The whole salon is absolutely wonderful and when I came in they all stepped in to talk to me about it. I had went to another salon who unfortunately didn't accomplish what I wanted and in fact made it so difficult for me to have any other options so I thought. Diana was kind and took her time and fixed my hair. The owner and staff absolutely cared about my feelings and could see how upset I was and just made me feel better about the situation during this process. Waking up this morning I can actually look at my hair now and I am thrilled, it looks so amazing. Won't go anywhere else, worth the drive.

Annabelle did an amazing job. I don’t get my hair done very often but when I do I’m looking for someone professional, kind, and talented. Annabelle was amazing. Amidst some shop drama (not impressed with the oldest stylist in their building which is possibly the owner) Annabelle held her professional demeanor and did SUCH a good job on my hair. Very impressed by her, and will look forward to coming back.

Grace my hair stylist is beyond amazing! She knows what she is doing & is amazing at blending so when my hair grows out it all blends together & can go longer between appointments. All the ladies at the salon are super friendly! Elona is a sweetheart & very personable! Highly recommend if looking for a hair stylist !

This place is HAND’S DOWN the BEST salon that we have EVER been too! I am a very picky person and so is my daughter… if I’m paying $200+ on my daughters hair then I expect for it to be PERFECT, nothing else will be accepted! Well… After trying THREE different salon’s Angelina at Taki Salon got it ALL right from the color all the way to the cut! Angelina got my daughters hair color to exactly what she wanted in ONE try! I honestly was not expecting it to turn out so good because she has dark hair and wanted it lightened into a balayage, it’s absolutely beautiful ❤ I will never search another salon, we have our forever salon as long as they are there! They had quite a few customers in the couple hours we were there and not one customer left unhappy! Thank you so much Angelina, we will be back when I’m ready for my highlights! 😊
P.S the owner is awesome and very welcoming also. The whole place gives you that warm fuzzy and comfortable feeling ❤

Taki has helped me prep for job interviews -- great service, a well-trained, fashionable stylist team. It's impossible to wash my hair in my aging father's filthy living conditions. Taki has been a blessing (thank goodness they stopped me cold when I was debating shaving my head to save money).

Owner Elona is an amazing small business owner in a state where women struggle. Michigan is the #7 worst state for women; 29% of Michigan women live in poverty. Michigan has the 6th worst gender wage gap in the country. She's got brains for business, a "bod" for s*n, and her sweet hubs has an eye for design. Ultimate power couple. #Goals
