We had some VIP guests for a late lunch. Coho smoked on the grill,
Salad just picked from our garden,and, ohh, I needed bread! I went to LHB and Keegan set me up with his freshly made Asiago infused bread 🍞!
I had no idea what to get but Keegan knew what to do. The Asiago bread was a HIT!
I'm greatfull for Keegan "and Jilly" being a part of our community.

A hidden gem that's worth the drive! We have known about this place for a long time but never made the trek and now we are kicking ourselves for waiting so long. We bought a little of everything, and it was all fantastic! The almond croissant, the almond bar, and sourdough bread were highlights. We bought a couple of frozen chicken pot pies to have for dinner later. We were lucky that while we were there they were roasting garlic in the ovens for (I think) their garlic cheddar bread, and it smelled delicious! The staff was friendly and helpful, and we can't wait to be back! Do yourself a favor and make a trip to get something fresh, but their products are also available at Arbor Farms Market, and other locations around SE Michigan.

I absolutely love this place. I got the pizza last weekend and it was just as amazing as the baked goods. Keegan is a talented baker with a lot of experience.
The lake house is very close to the city of chelsea. I am happy to drive 10 mins for such quality food!
They have a freezer stocked with pot pies and pasties. We absolute loved these too! There is not one thing I do not like about the quality and the service!!

My sister in law and I did the pasta making class and had a blast! I have been making my own homemade pasta since! the class was so informative and so much fun. I can’t wait to sign up for another. I also get all of my cakes made here and they are always exquisite.

I have ordered a couple of cakes now and a few of their holiday boxes. Everything we have had has been wonderful. At our recent birthday party, I had so many people stop me to ask where we got the cake from!

Best carrot cake ever! It’s the first bakery item I’ve tried, purchased at a small local food market. I’m ready to try the other baked goods, but the carrot cake has moved to the top of my favorite special treat purchases.

Lakehouse Bakery makes the best gluten-free pizza in Chelsea and beyond. We’ve tried all the options for gf pizza in Chelsea. Lakehouse is the clear winner!

Stopped by on a bike ride. The pecan rolls are the perfect size (not too big but not too small either). Kim was a delight. After cutting off a pecan roll, she scooped some of the extra/loose pecans on top. She showed me where I could refill water bottles and came out from around the counter to hold the door for me since my hands were full. There’s a quaint picnic table on the side. I’ll be back for sure.

I was lucky enough to have a dear friend order a gluten-free chocolate cake delivered to me from the Lakehouse Bakery to celebrate my sixth decade on the planet and it was the best cake I have ever had. Dense and chocolatey but not overwhelming and I enjoyed every single morsel! Thank you!

We got 500 mini desserts for our wedding and they were a HUGE hit. The table was cleared in I swear under 10 minutes. Everyone commented on how amazing everything tasted. We also got to do a tasting to pick out the desserts and Keegan was so great to work with - we felt so welcomed and got to try so much!

We drive quite a ways to get their gluten-free pizza. The cheesy bread is the best around. We are very lucky to have a real bakery in the area. These days, people open a donut shop and call it a bakery. The Lakehouse Bakery is a real bakery with great bread, cakes, muffins etc, etc. Give this place a chance. You won't be disappointed.

Nice cozy location with nice variety of gifts and products. Haven’t tried the pizza but have heard it is great!

Keegan hosted a Christmas Cookie decorating class for my office holiday party and it was absolutely perfect! So festive and fun. Keegan was just lovely and so helpful. Our office had a fantastic time. We highly recommend The Lakehouse Bakery!

The gluten free carrot pineapple muffin was delicious. The texture was amazing and the taste was fabulous. We stopped in and we were told those muffins were baking and would be done in a couple of hours so we made the trip back and it was well worth the drive back! My husband enjoyed his desserts as well😋 everyone was extremely friendly too☺

The Lakehouse Bakery catered our wedding desserts and it was amazing! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a dessert table eaten so fast. Our guests loved all of the options and Keegan was so great to work with! Highly recommend

Cookie class was delicious and great fun! We baked and sampled chocolate chip cookies, melt in your mouth wedding cookies, and we baked and decorated cut out sugar cookies. We left with a large box of fresh baked cookies and another dozen ready to bake. I highly recommend this class.

Amazing business! Awesome staff! Amazing goods! Ordered this cake for my in-laws 50th anniversary and they were able to recreate the piping that was done on the original cake and modify it for a sheet cake instead of tiered cake. Their cookies and muffins are also delicious! They offer classes to make macaroons, pasta and more! Will return and highly recommend!

The owner Keegan’s story touched my heart as he told me his story of the joy he experienced baking cookies with his grandma, his mission is to make people happier one cookie at a time! We decided to celebrate my sister's bachelorette party by doing a private baking class and IT WAS AWESOME!!!!! Keegan's expertise, friendliness, and impressive teaching skills ensured that we all had a great time and were able to all walk away having learned something. Keegan was flexible, professional, and tons of fun. We took on macrons, and it was a hit!! They turned out so well that we even put them out with the other desserts at the wedding :) Thanks for such an amazing event, Keegan! I cannot recommend enough.

They have a wide variety of options including many handmade baked goods and snacks available that they make which are not made from unhealthy ingredients. They have sandwiches, soda, and much much more in on Friday and Saturday they offer pizza. The pizza is made with all natural ingredients, fresh ingredients, and it is not light together chain outfit pizzas, it is not greasy at all!

The staff is always happy and friendly. I highly recommend coming here and getting something and it’s great to support a local small business
