Management did reach out and provided some perks to correct the experience. I was able to enjoy the pool at the times open and I always base my most recent review on how things are handled, rather than how a negative feeling impacted me, as everything is situational.

Thank you for the adjustment and I will strongly consider staying here again in the future.

I was having a peaceful stay and after working 2 full long days, I wanted to relax at the pool until it closed as posted on the door at 9:30 pm, photo attached. I had just stepped in the pool to ease myself in at 9 pm, when the front desk person walks in, stares at me then approached me sticking his thumb motioning to leave. I did not respond immediately and he followed up with a verbal "it's closed." - I responded with, "the sign on the door says 9:30"

He responded quickly with, "nope, it's 9" and proceeds to shut off the hot tub and started turning off the lights. I cooperated and returned to my room.

Hospitality was not present with this interaction and I know he's not had an easy night when I checked in and maybe suggests a similar night when he acts like a bouncer to kick me out of the pool area.

If in fact it is supposed to close at 9, they should put a sign up. Much like other signs that are taped to the door the I've seen.

Customers should not be treated this way and more training is required for this person to have better hospitality communication. Be better.

My cowrokers and i stayed here for a week and the service was fantastic. House keeping so polite and thorough, front desk and management pleasant and the breakfast by far was better than any other place we’ve stayed. The breakfast lady, Lucy is a phenomenal server. She was quick and attentive to all our needs and makes one of the best omelettes ive had in years.

This is like a second home. I've stayed here for years. I've recommended it to so many people. Many of which have stayed. I've yet to hear about anything being a problem. Any issues I've ever encountered they move to immediately resolve the issue and make it right. I applaud their efforts and appreciate their enthusiasm they express when making it right. Recently, I had an emergency situation that I needed some sanctuary from and they were not only happy to have me as a guest but also showed compassion to my situation. It was so deeply appreciated and I am forever grateful for all their kindness. Having a hotel make you feel like you are supposed to be here, like where have you been we've been looking forward to seeing you, it's exemplary service. Best pool room temperature and actual pool water temperature. The hot tub is back open. Jackie is at it tending bar and always has a smile on her face and has a have seat, glad you are here, welcome for you attitude everyday she's here. Thunderbay has a refreshed menu and they've done such a good job revamping it that I've eaten there 3 times during my stay. Still run room service to the hotel too. If you're wondering if it's something for a couple just to have a night away even in your home town, yes, take advantage of Jackie's upbeat attitude as she happily walks around and offers a refresher even on a beer bottle alone. Makes sitting by the fireplace inviting and stretching out on the couches second nature and have some us time. For families? Absolutely. It is such a simple floorplan but they know their guests and no one seems to be on top of each other even when it's super busy. Business? This is the spot. Did I also mention the 24 fitness center or breakfast in the lower level? Hope this helps you Google review reader. Just wanted to give answers to questions I have about hotels. Oh, lastly, for a small fee (other hotels charge significantly more around the country), you can bring your dog!

They have a very comfortable room. We will be very happy to stay here again. It was easy enough to get to off the interstate. It did not have a microwave, though. The onsite breakfast was pretty ordinary, better than some, but twelve $$?

Facility was very clean. Christian at the front desk checked me in twice. Both times he was very welcoming, cordial, and informative. Will most certainly stay here again if in the area.

Was always my favorite place to stay because of location between friends and family. This time, we only stayed 1 night, but it had a different vibe than previously.

Very friendly accommodating staff. Checking in was so easy and hassle free. The family suite was amazing. The bathroom was huge. The balcony is nice and smoking was allowed outside on it. Lucy was absolutely phenomenal working the buffet she made the omelettes from scratch right in front of us and they were fantastic! She was also a delight to our family. So friendly with our kids. We all loved her service very much.

This hotel is great! Staff is pleasant, beds are super comfortable, pillows are fantastic! The rooms are laid out well. Jacuzzi tubs. Even the lobby fireplace is great for evenings.

I'm in Pewaukee for business several times a year and this was my first time staying at this hotel. It was super clean, full of amenities, and very quaint. The staff was amazing! From Becky at the front desk when I first checked in to Lucy who was down at the Breakfast Buffet serving up the fresh made-to-order omelettes! The pool/hot tub area was super welcoming too! I look forward to my next stay here!

Conference room and hotel room was very clean. Service was good but had a hard time figuring where to go. Not many around to help.

I stay at a lot of Holiday Inns, but this was the first I've been at with this kind of decor. The lobby felt quiet, but luxurious and the room had a large executive desk as well as a granite shower with TWO shower heads. TWO! AND A HEAT LAMP!

Black out curtains and wifi in the rooms, soft sheets on the bed, grab-and-go breakfast items in the morning with some relatively decent coffee.

If I'm in this area again, I'll be coming back

I stopped in due to being stranded. I asked the young man if I could possibly use an outlet to charge my phone. He was very nice and pointed me in the direction of the computer. He told me to plug in and take all the time I needed. The young man checked on me twice to make sure I was ok. He also informed the morning staff of my dilemma. I was never asked to leave, I was treated either the utmost respect... as though I was a paying guest at the hotel. I was even invited to help myself to the complimentary breakfast and coffee. When I finally was able to obtain a ride, I thanked the woman at the desk. She replied... it has been our pleasure. Take care of yourself.
This is quite the opposite of what I had experience at the mobile gas station just down the rd.
I will avoid the mobile gas station, but definitely recommend this hotel.

Stayed here for a recent work trip and it was great! It has more personality than a lot of Holiday Inn's I have stayed at before and the front desk was above and beyond for service when asking for local recommendations or just a friendly hello. The rooms are spacious and the showers have TWO HEADS - I want to go back just for that reason!

Great place from beginning to end. Customer appreciation from check-in to check-out. The front desk, dining room staff, and cleaning staff were all very helpful & friendly. Beds were sooooooo comfy and the handicap room was perfect for wheelchair access across the board. I wish hotel beds were lower but I run into that obstacle no matter what it seems. Pool access was great as well- 3'6" was perfect for my 6 yr old with only a little pool experience & the hottub was always ready. Both pools had access for persons installed to walk in themselves. We will DEFINITELY be going back again.

A fun, and comfortable stay for the family. We booked a poolside room, and our kids loved it. The accommodations were clean and current, and the staff were all really nice. Pool was heated, and we swam as we watched the snow fall. We're local, so this was a great way to spend a winter night in, movies and all.

Wow! What a beautiful hotel, with amazing service! From our late night check in-friendly and efficient- to a remarkably clean room, and toasty hot tub!

I wanted to take the shower in our room home with me. Two shower heads! No more was I faced with the difficult decision to face forward or backwards into the hot, cleansing water!

The room was spotless. Shoutout to the housekeeping team, who clearly does an awesome job. The backbone of the hotel.

In the morning, we enjoyed a hot breakfast, with delightful service. Forgive me for not remembering the names of the two ladies working in breakfast on 12/30. They deserve kudos!

And Aaron, the front office supervisor! He was incredibly pleasant, and embodied the spirit of hospitality. He went out of his way to make our stay truly exceptional. Absolutely above-and-beyond service, which was like the icing on the sweet, sweet cake that was our stay at Holiday Inn Pewaukee.

Used to be a Radisson so everything is really clean and nicely kept. Rooms were spacious & really clean (yes I tore the place apart checking for critters and can happily report this place was sterile including passing the black light test!)
Lobby has waiting area seating as well as a fireplace with comfy looking chairs we enjoyed great conversation late into the evening well after the bar closed. Yes there is also a bar decently stocked with a wonderful bartender who even brought us some snacks to enjoy at our groups table we all journeyed over to street the bar had closed for the evening.
Pool was clean and will stocked with towels and opened early (8am if I remember correctly) and closed pretty late like 10-11.
There is breakfast on the lower level starting at 6 am. I received two complementary tickets for it at the beginning of my stay of two days. I would rate the breakfast as very good. several choices as well as a fresh made eggs/ omelette station.
There are two restaurants very close one about 100 feet away, just a short walk across a breezeway. The second a two minute walk across the street.
If I'm in the area again I will definitely stay in here again As well as highly recommend it to anyone traveling in the area, you will not be disappointed.

This is a beautiful hotel. I didn't spend much time there but the bed was comfy, no odor of any kind. Bathroom was wonderful! Two headed shower and several towels. The bean style pool looked very inviting as well.
