Tony Maronni's

Nice place, not busy early evening. Very good pizzas and salads. Old Italian restaurant decor gives it a comfortable feeling. Downsides:
1. The music. Not really needed and a bit too loud. (4 star)
2. They were out of all but one red wine offering, which was a bit sweet for my taste. Really! Still give 5 stars tho.
We will return.

The english language lacks a sufficient quantity of superlatives to heap into a review of Tony Maronni's restaurant.

I was in the area for a work project that required about 2-3 hours of down time spent waiting. I had missed lunch to drive for the project. I was recommended to here.

My order was fairly straight forward. An order of mozzarella sticks and a small thin crust cheese, pepperoni and sausage pizza.

My expectations for the mozzarella sticks were your standard string cheese coated in some breading. Never in my wildest imagination was I expecting what appeared at my table. Easily 2" in diameter and 6-7" long. They were made with fresh dough as the wrapping and fresh mozzarella in such quantity as to make this son of Wisconsin experience a dairy Nirvana.

My pizza could only be described as close to perfection as I have ever eaten. An amazing dough turned into an amazing crust. The same fresh mozzarella. The meats and spices blended to create a desire to invest in genetic modifcation... a second stomach is the only thing that could have made this meal better.

It was slow, as I was there in the mid-afternoon. I had the opportunity to hear Tony's history about how the restaurant came to be. 17 years it has been.

I live a a small city that is known for its pizzerias. Some of them are very, very good. When I am out of town, I use them as bragging rights. I can no longer in good faith espouse my home town pizza.

I will sing the praises of this small town pizzeria going forward.

Love it! The food was delicious 😋 and the dinning room is super cute. It is mainly a takeout joint so space is extremely limited and it would not be good for big parties. Besides the one table that we were at, it is just good for parties of four and under.

The best pizza I've had in a long time, Will definitely make the effort to drive a distance to get better quality food they provided.

We had the New Yorker on the original crust and garlic bread. Loved both and will definitely be back!

The lasagna is really greasy but good! I have also had the pizza to-go and no complaints at all!

We've been here twice and had great experiences both times. The customer service has been great. Above and beyond what we expected.

I'm visiting from out of state and had no expectations on what type of pizza place I was in for. Purchased the large 16" margarita pizza with hand tossed crust and WOW! Dare I say this was one of the best margarita pizzas I have ever eaten. Sauce was 10/10 outstanding, crust was delicious, cheese was generously portioned without being overwhelming and melted perfectly, and toppings and seasonings were right on point. The only reason I haven't attached a picture of this beautiful pie was that we devoured it too quickly. Although the pizza was a bit higher priced than competing places, it was sizeable, so delicious, filling, and the ingredients were so fresh I didn't mind paying a bit more for taste and quality. When I come back to the area there's no question in my mind that I'll be returning to Tony Maronni's!

Our family (3) went here to dine in. Cozy little dine in area with a wonderful aroma of pizza. The pizza is amazing with delicious toppings. Highly recommended local spot.

Delivery to my son's new house. The pizza, chicken wings, garlic bread was very good. Can't wait to dine in your restaurant.

My ma and I ran into Tony himself today and he is so pleasant & interesting to talk with. We commented about the CARMELIZED ONIONS (that are awesome)and he told us the story on how they came to be on the menu.....fascinating. Oh, and Tony, we will be sending up prayers for your upcoming surgery!! God Bless.
I order pizza to go and it's always ready when I get there (which is awesome), people are friendly and they have a wide assortment of toppings (which makes it really fun to have something unique)!!!!

Wish dining room was still open - this has been HANDS DOWN - the best pizza in the area - someone said Pizza Hut? UGH - this has always been our top pizza - expensive but worth every bite.

Follow up review. Ordered 2 XL pizzas, a 3 topping and 2 topping pizza. Received free garlic bread with the order over $25. Picked up pizza and garlic bread baked. Wow! Excellent pizzas and garlic bread!! Was not overcooked and was outstanding! The 3 topping Italian sausage, mushrooms, and onions was one of the best pizzas I've ever had!!! Looks like Tony Maronni's is back on their game!

Pizza tasted good, but way over cooked and burnt. Very disappointed. There was also very little cheese on the pizza. We had out of town company and bragged about how good their pizza is, as we've had the pizza many times in the past. We would recommend picking up the pizza unbaked and bake it at home.

My daughter lives in Sussex an hour away from us and when we come to visit Tony Maronni’s is our favorite place to order out from...in fact it’s our favorite pizza place including everywhere we have tried in Southeastern Wisconsin...always fresh, excellent sauce and even their gluten free pizza is delicious! And I can get both gluten and dairy free that tastes amazing, thank you so much!

Always fresh, hot and incredibly delicious. It might cost a little bit more than others, but hands down, the best pizza and well worth it. The hand tossed crust is our favorite.

We discovered this gem when we moved to Sussex about 3 years ago. We just moved out of state and made sure to way this as our last meal in Wisconsin!! We're going to miss it so much! Everything is delicious, but my favorite is the Farmers Market!!

I love their pizza. I think it is one of the best New York style pizzerias around. The kids love the plain sausage pizza with both NY or thin crust. Don't forget to join their reward program. I just got 10 dollars off my last order!

Ordered a pizza and cheesy garlic bread on NYE. Food was great! There was a customer causing a scene while I was picking up my order but I felt the owner handled the situation really well and was trying to make it right - great customer service. I will definitely be back.

The best quality ingredients are use and tasted in everything Tony Maronni’s makes. If you want excellent food for your health and enjoyment order now! If you want to go to Pizza Hut, then you just don’t get it. The staff and food is well worth their prices. And, supporting this awesome local business just makes me happy.
