Dan's Bar and Grill

Food was very flavorful. Enjoyed the nightly burger special, pasta bowl, fish tacos and chicken sandwich. Everything was delicious. Our server was so attentive and fun. Atmosphere was bar atmosphere. Fun and clean.

I heard the burgers here were supposed to be awesome. Had to go check it out. The burgers were actually really good. And their tater tots they make their homemade and really tasty too.
The burger was great was a little salty but they burger menu was really good and creative too. If you're in the area it's worth checking out! The wait staff was really nice and on top of it. Checking in a lot and making sure beverages are topped off.

Great food and service. Appetizer: Korean BBQ lettuce wraps. Main course: wife had shrimp tacos and onion rings, I had stuffed cream cheese wonton burger. Everything was great!

We heard the burgers were good here so we decided to check it out in the way home from TI for the Skid Row concert. We sat on the patio. Beautiful day and our server Lauren took great care of us! We started with crispy Brussel Sprouts and Cheese Curds. 10/20!!! Absolutely DELISH. I did the California burger. I'd give 7/10. The bun wasn't my fave but the patty was well seasoned and nicely grilled! We'll definitely be back!!!

Tried for the first time tonight after my husband couldn't stop talking about it. So good! Took the whole family and everyone ate everything on their plates.
I had the turkey club and it was delicious! Will definitely be coming back for that alone. The cheese curds were also yummy.
The waitress was very nice and attentive. It seemed like everyone was having a good time.

Food is really good. We had their fish fry. The fish and sides were really good. The tarter was really bland. So, nothing to really complain about. The service was fantastic and they were beyond busy. For even came out in a short time. They do take reservations and I highly recommend it. Very popular place with great people.

The food always taste amazing with plenty of creative options on the menu. The staff do an incredible job of keeping up with busy times. My only complaint would be the food can be a bit messy, but sometimes the best food around has to be a little messy. Its worth going out of your way to get your hands on one of these burgers!

We went to Dan's for the first time on Good Friday at 3:45, it was hopping (fish fry starts at 4:00...oops). Never even thought of making a reservation but reservations are highly recommended and I can now see why. We will definitely be back with a reservation. 😊

We stopped in for an appetizer and a beer on a weekday afternoon, the place was busy with the after work crowd. The bartender was very friendly with a great sense of humor. We split an order of brisket tacos, made with smoked brisket- very good! The selection of tap beers was excellent. Had been wanting to try this spot for some time and it did not disappoint.

What a great place! I had passed by it many times, but finally stopped a week ago. I'm now going to make it a regular stop when I'm in the area.
My group of 8 stopped in on a Friday night, and my first impression was that it's very clean. The bartender Brett greeted us right when we walked in. We ordered a variety of drinks which he made quickly and very tasty. I wandered around and made note of their ample dining room, and noticed how clean the kitchen area is. My group went out to the patio area, which is lovely, and also has a bar in the back. We met some of the friendly local people, and we had a great time. It's a nice patio with lights and flowers :)
My group went inside a few times to order shots and drinks, and there was Brett, always ready to serve us with a smile. He has a great sense of humor and buzzes around the place cleaning when he isn't waiting on customers. He was also quick to make a pizza for anyone that wanted one, as the grill is closed late at night. Great attitude on that guy, and I really can't pay him enough compliments!
I hope to go there next time when they are serving food because I've heard from others that the serve great things.

If I could give this establishment 10 stars I would. The food was beyond fantastic. The food menu is extensive and so is the drink menu, with regular options but also some really fun combinations of flavors. I had the pot roast with rainbow carrots and it was amazing. I'm ready to go back! They also have an Appetizer called Redneck Nachos that is terrific. My table mates said the Waffle fries and stuffed burgers were delicious as well. I've been telling everyone I know about this place! You NEED reservations though, it was a packed house for dinner! They also have fun inflated igloos on the patio that you can eat in. Might have to try sitting out there soon!

We drove down after seeing it on MN Top Restaurants list. The burgers were amazing and the staff were very hospitable. Everyone needs to try a burger here. We got the Cream Cheese Wonton stuffed burger and the Poutine stuffed burger. They are pretty messy so get those napkins ready. We would definitely recommend these and eat these again.

I've been coming to Dan's off and on for the last two decades and their menu just keeps getting better and better rivaling big city restaurants. The brussel sprouts appetizer is both plentiful and delicious for a party of 4+. Our group had several different burgers and they were all great! The sweet potato waffle fries are wonderful and the coleslaw is unique and tastey. Stop in. You won't be disappointed.

Amazing place to meet friends and enjoy the atmosphere. Very friendly staff and customers. Light hearted enjoyable dinner. I tried the Friday fish fry and my wife had the bourbon burger. Both were outstanding. 15 mile drive for us and well worth it. We will definitely be back.

Just off the beaten path of MN Hwy 52 N, is a hidden treasure called Dan's Bar and Grill, in New Trier. Fast friendly service, unique menu of burgers, salads, sandwiches and more. Definitely worth that extra 2.3 miles off the main highway! We will be returning to try more!

The food was So delicious! And with patio seating it was a great evening after tubing down the river. Service was great and very informative with the good foods to eat! There is a outside bar too, and room for live music on the patio! Really fun spot to be.

Awesome menu, and the service is always great. Patio has heated domes in the winter for a really neat experience. The white cheddar bacon tots (housemade) and the Couch Potato burger are great places to start on the menu, but you really can't go wrong.

Food was very flavorful, fresh and hot! The cheese in the middle of the burger was perfectly melted. The chicken and waffle sandwich with honey was a fantastic blend of spicy and sweet. We also had the bacon and cheddar tots with seasoned cream dipping sauce. Our server kept the drinks flowing and we watched the football game out on the naturally shaded patio.

Marcy was the best bartender around! She kept the drinks flowing! Mark cooked my special burger perfectly! 8 stars to the bar!
