I stopped on a whim with my wife not realizing that this is a gluten free dairy free restaurant. When I realized that this was the case I was apprehensive because I am not on a restricted diet. So we ordered a panini and burger with fries and I was worried for no reason. The food was really good and well seasoned the fries were delicious and came with a dipping sauce. We have a few friends that will love to hear about this place. We also had a couple cupcakes which were very good also. I could tell the burger bun and cupcakes were gluten free but they were good tasting and I would not think twice about coming back again. If you have dietary restrictions this is a good place for you to try. If you don't, don't worry the food is good and you can support your family that needs this.

We had party of 7. We called in advance to make sure they could accommodate and they were very friendly on phone and said yes they could and that they would have the tables together and set up when we got there—which they did. We all tried different foods and they were all great. I am not gluten intolerant so I don’t have a lot of experience gluten free but I couldn’t tell the difference (I had turkey BLT on toast). 1 of our party is gluten free and she told us most gluten free isn’t that good. All 7 of us walked away full and all enjoyed our sandwiches. Highly recommend for both the wonderful staff and the wonderful food.

LOVED this place! What an honestly adorable little spot! The inside was so cute, cozy, and such great decor. While we were there, the woman on the cash register was seriously SO sweet. Very welcoming, friendly, and overall, it just gave such a sweet & kind vibe.

My fiancé & I got the chicken sandwich & pesto chicken panini, soup special (potato bacon soup), two cupcakes (lemon lavender & cookie dough), plus I got two cookies from the fridge before we left.

Everything was SO good. The cupcakes were soft & perfect. The lemon lavender had an amazing lemon taste & perfect texture. I got the chocolate chunk cookie before leaving, and it was definitely one of the best gluten-free cookies I've ever had! I was hard to tell. Everything was even gluten & dairy free!

We will absolutely be visiting again when we are in the area! This place was great for a quick bite to eat, sit down & relax. The vibe of the entire place was so welcoming & I loved it!

Great for allergies and vegan, vegetarian, soy free, gluten free, healthy, plus meat dishes and wines and desserts all gluten free I believe. I don't have those strict needs but I love the place. Talk about filling yet light, fresh but not bland. Though some sauce options for the foods would be nice to add extra flavor for those that aren't watching every calorie. I love the hummus veggie wrap, the house chips are pretty great, and the vegan mac n cheese was pricey until you see the portion & quality and flavor. Not the cheapest but worth the price especially for those with allergies or that are super healthy wanting to dine out in a nice place. Cozy nice place. And even through being busy they show they care about each customer experience. Highly recommended and will be back more than the twice I've been so far.

What a hidden gem! Delicious food, and everything in the shop is gluten and dairy free. The decor is gorgeous, and their baked goods are so cute and Delicious. Didn't know it was there... Will be going back!

Lovely place! So nice to be able to safely dine in a beautiful place with great staff! I brought my very picky husband, and he didn't even know he was eating gluten and dairy free! And the brownies and cupcakes are incredible!

Fantastic! You must go here for the gluten-free/dairy free meals and bakery.
Since it was Friday, they had a few fish specials. I had the fried shrimp and my husband had the fish sandwich on their GF brioche bun. He said he could not tell it was GF. The fried shrimp was made with a bread crumb coating. It was a treat, but next time I'll try the sandwich. Their dipping sauce was great for the fries.
We also got treats for the road. The oatmeal cookie sandwich was out of this world.
They are very serious about allergies, so you can feel comfortable here.

I've passed this place 1000 times. Sorry I did. Ordered today on a whim for a quick lunch. Buffalo chicken street tacos and wife got crispy chicken salad. Was ready for pickup when I arrived.

Place looked clean and had plenty of bakery treats available for purchase as well. I thought this was more of a small soup/sandwich bakery shop, but no, they have a full impressive menu.

The tacos were awesome. Nice flavor and heat very authentic. Better than most Mexican restaurants in the area. The chicken salad was, well a chicken salad. Wife liked it average size piece of chicken over greens. No complaints.

Will definitely be back to give their dinner menu a shot!. If your on the fence check them out!

this is heaven for anyone with allergies and food restrictions !!! don't think twice just go !!! the food is amazing and will make the 2.5 hour drive again asap just to eat there ! and the staff is amazing. omg I can't say thank you enough for the service and amazing food !

Have bought from this bakery a few times! Many of my family members avoid gluten and dairy so I was thrilled to try this place. Chocolate caramel coconut cupcake was one of the best cupcakes I’ve ever had. I hope they can open the bakery back up soon!

WOW! Unbelievable that this place is gluten- and dairy-free. The food was excellent and enjoined by gluten and dairy consumers. Those in our party that follow the GF diet were BLOWN AWAY by the food!!

We came back the next morning for brunch (see photo). Amazing again!

Many fabulous pastry and to-go delicacies in the cases. There was a (fast-moving) line for fried dough they cranked out that morning. Outdoor seating available. The owner, Noah, was super personable and clearly passionate about his fabulous offerings. Ten stars!

I love having a gluten free bakery to stop at when I come back home to visit my family and friends! The halfmoons are delicious and I just bought my first loaf of bread this weekend which was unbelievably soft and made a great grilled cheese for dinner tonight! Highly recommend!

Update 12/19: The new cafe is open and 100% the 90 minute drive! It’s cute with its hints of rustic. Sandwich was AMAZING and served with some balsamic veggies 😍. Tragically got there too late as they had already sold out of their Mac and Cheese. 10/10 would recommend to GF and non-gluten free folks alike.

Gluten Free to say the least!!!!! The entire menu including homemade bread and dessert are all Gluten Free. Delicious dipping sauces to enjoy your entree with as well as a large selection of to go treat's.

This place is Amazing!! My son just found out he has to be on a Gluten free diet and its been really difficult for him .City Cafe has become his favorite place to eat out . Amazing food and Staff. Thank you 😊

This is hands down the BEST gluten free food in the area!! I frequently get food from here and it is amazing every time!! I will recommend this to every gluten-free person or non gluten free person! The food tastes like it has gluten in it, in the best way!

This time we went for brunch (we will definitely return for lunch!!)the flavors were amazing and the staff friendly! Seating is sparse so you have to be patient!! Very accommodating!! We had the waffle towers its A LOT of food!!!

This was my first time going to the cafe. I got one of the burgers and fries they do it was AMAZING the best burger I have had at a restaurant. They gave me a sauce to dip my fries in I don't know what it was but I do wish I could buy it to take home because it was AMAZING. The staff was so sweet ,and a fast, and polite. I will definitely be eating there a lot more.

We did a last minute dinner date and it was FANTASTIC everything is gluten free which is hard to find and it was delicious.

My daughter has a dairy allergy and just loves this place. I don't have any food allergies, but I also LOVE it! The food is always fresh, amazing, and it never disappoints! One of our favorite restaurants in the area!

Amazing food and, bonus, they cater to dietary restrictions like gluten free. Best waffles I have ever had!
